Great place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. Hostess was very nice and gave us great recommendations for eating and exploring the area. Hot tub was great and the rooms were awesome. Highly recommend this place to stay.
We were visiting Silver City to watch our niece play softball at WNMU. Nice and quiet, and oh so charming. Host was kind and helpful and had two of the sweetest dogs to welcomes us. Very comfortable stay and the views were beautiful. We will definitely visit again.
I had the best stay here. The property and home were beautiful and clean. The host was friendly, welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. The hot tub and front porch were unexpected delights as were the hosts two dogs. I could have sat on the porch for hours watching the hummingbirds and relaxing. If you’re looking for peace, quiet and nature, this is definitely the place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!
Would have preferred a full kitchen but we had a portable grill with us so we made the small kitchenette work for our needs.
Really liked being outside of town and the road near by wasn’t very busy. First time to Silver City area and will most likely return sometime.
Spent 2 nights after several days of hiking. The laundry facilities and hot tub were greatly appreciated! We stayed in the Hummingbird Suite downstairs. It was well-kept, well appointed and very homey. Peaceful setting.
Beautiful place. Well appointed. Saw deer, quail, rabbits & Arabian horses. Special touches like hot tub & chocolates. Also the dogs were great.

This is a charming, serene place; very clean; close to town; our only complaint is that we were only staying one night and wishing we could stay 1 or 2 more just to enjoy and decompress! added plus: 2 very friendly adorable dogs! Azaima was a very gracious host - thank you Azaima! we plan to return!
We loved everything about our stay. Our host was wonderful, communicative, helpful, and kind. Her dogs are a treat. The rooms were awesome and inviting. There were deer, beautiful walking paths, luscious trees... oh my goodness the scenery was gorgeous! We were able to relax and felt totally at home.
This property is very cute and peaceful. We loved the rocking-chair front porch, the garden view, and great price too.
It was nice to have a large bathroom and kitchen/eating area in a small space.
If there's people in the upstairs unit, you can hear them easily, but the owner told us that up front and it wasn't an issue during our stay.
Extra points for the (owner's) adorable dogs coming over to have breakfast with us :)

About the host
Hosted by Azaima Anderson
I grew up in Chicago, went to school on the East Coast, and did corporate work in big cities until I discovered the country. Moved to Maine and changed my focus to music and healing work.
I'm interested in helping people get out of their own way so they can make the difference they want to see in themselves and the world.
I've released four CDs. Three of them have original songs. My songwriting is lyric-driven, and the music serves the lyric rather than being restricted to a particular style. Some are folk, others pop, jazz, rock and blues.
Most recently, I've composed a CD of meditative prosperity chants in the Sufi tradition.
My healing work includes astrology, yoga, shamanic work, and a technique I created called Heart Lightning, which quickly removes mental and emotional blocks in as little as one session.
I'm an interfaith minister, and have married people on this property.
I live with a couple of dogs who entertain me so completely that I don't watch TV. (But guest rooms have a TV).
Why they chose this property
Although I loved the beauty and the people of Maine, the climate was nasty. Anyone who can survive winter there deserves a medal. I moved here for the temperate weather and discovered I'd found my tribe. The artists and healers here are creative and nurturing. Once I moved here, I fell in love with the land, the cactus flowers, the rolling hills, and the sun.
The neighbors have ponies and peacocks who have visited occasionally. Apaches used to live on this land, and I have found some of their trading stones on the ground.
I love the proximity to town and country, and the great views.
What makes this property unique
The man who sold us our house was a naturalist. He took us on a walk and pointed out wildlife footprints along the trails. There are mountain views from every window.
You can hike straight out of the house for hours and never see a soul. But the neighbors are friendly if you do happen to run into them.
The long driveway goes uphill, so you have great views by the time you get to the house.
The flag-lined front porch is a great place to hang out, have a meal and enjoy nature.
