Our 2bedroom unit is on 7th floor of the Solaris building in the west tower. This unit has a King in the Master and a Queen/twin Bunk in the 2nd bedroom. This unit is 1200 Sqft and is full finished and stocked with viking kitchen products, washer/dryer, and any thing else you would need for a long or short term stay. We function just like a hotel with a 24/7 front desk staff as well as access to all of the amenities of the Solaris building: Pool, Hot tub, work out rooms, ski lockers, ski valet, etc... This unit offers a fully functional kitchen that boasts high-end appliances and utensils. This unit has a fireplace in the living room with patio access as well. This unit faces north mountain views.

Perfect location

I gave one star for accuracy of online listing because when we checked in we kwere given a different unit than the one listed without prior notification. The front desk told us the owner decided to stay in the unit we had rented and so we were given one of his other units that was smaller and less amenities. I was able to contact the owner and he did compensate one night rental fee, but my teens were cramped in this small room with very little ventilation and no windows. Owner offered to switch us to a larger unit on day 3 of our stay, but we didn’t want to move units at that point. We stayed 4 nights. Overall, the Solaris is a great place to stay and perfect location in the middle of Vail village. Everything right out your door. Will stay here again and just book directly with Solaris.

2 bedroom solaris

We have stayed at multiple Solaris residences and love the location, the staff, and the ease of checking in and out. However, while this unit was nice, it was not on the same level as many of the other residences we have rented. I was also very disappointed that the unit we booked online was not the unit we received. The unit we received had a bunk bed in which the top bunk had no real railing to keep children from rolling off. It also didn’t feel as cozy as there was no rug on the floor or door to the second bedroom. The living room couch was also small and not very comfortable and the lighting Overall the stay was good but I would not likely rent this unit again.
