Perhaps the best way to describe this house is that I wish we could have stayed longer. It was incredibly cozy and comfortable, set in the Snowdon Mountains and surrounding with amazing scenery.
We really enjoyed our stay here while touring around North Wales! My two biggest must-haves are safety and cleanliness, both of which were immediately apparent upon our arrival. As we were traveling from the USA, we paid extra to use their sheets and towels, and everything was ready when we arrived. The neighbors were great, as well. We had a mechanical issue with our rental car, and one lovely neighbor offered the use of her parking spaces so that someone could work on our vehicle. She then offered to make us tea after a very trying day stuck out on a remote road! Can't say enough great things about this location, the hosts and the neighbors!
We booked last minute for a few days away in Wales. We had stayed in the area before so knew a little of what was around. The house doesn't look much from outside, just a typical mining cottage but don't let the outside fool you. Inside is a modern extremely clean freshly decorated base for exploring. The communication from the owners was spot on we didn't need to contact them for anything during our stay we had every thing we needed. The location was stunning surrounded by mountains and old slate mines, makes for a great view on a sunny day or a moody rainy Welsh day. The pictures really don't do this lovely cottage justice. Would definitely recommend 10/10 from us. 😁😁
