About this property
Modern Downtown Cottage Nestled Among the Trees
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Walkable to Paso Robles’ downtown square which is filled with restaurants, wine-tasting bars and shops, this private home makes you feel like you’re on top of the world living in the treetops. This 100% renovated cottage, in a chic farmhouse style, is the perfect location to explore and live in the vibrant downtown area.
It has quick and easy access to Route 101, Route 46 East, Paso Airport, PR Event Center and Vina Robles Amphitheatre....and, of course, over 200+ wineries in the Paso Robles AVA. This 1000 square foot cottage, was just renovated with all new everything…kitchen, bath, windows, floors and a huge outside deck. It’s perfect location for traveling nurses, temporary work assignees, temporary home needs or roaming digital nomads.
SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
The master has a comfy King bed, large closet with built-ins, a dresser, ceiling fan and a 40” SmartTV equipped with Roku. Bedroom two has a comfy Queen bed, large closet with built-ins, a ceiling fan and 30” wall-mounted SmartTV also equipped with Roku. A Queen sleeper sofa in the living room can accommodate two additional guests if necessary.
You can also set the Roku to “guest mode” in case you forget to sign out of your accounts.
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Interior)
Walk through the entry door into the spacious, light-filled great room. To the left is the large, kitchen with all new cabinetry and stainless steel appliances…a gas 5-burner stove/oven, a side-by-side Fridgidaire fridge, dishwasher and microwave. There is also plenty of cabinet storage filled with all cooking and serving gear you’d need to whip up any gourmet meal.
Straight ahead is a custom-made, live edge, mounted walnut dining table with two stools for dining inside.
To the right as you walk in is the living area with a wall of windows overlooking the exterior living space. A large, queen-sleeper sofa provides seating for 4. Two side swivel chairs offer seating for 2 more guests. A 50” SmartTV provides the entertainment and is also equipped with Roku. Don’t forget to bring your Netflix and Prime account numbers so you can watch all your favorite shows and movies. You can also set the Roku to “guest mode” so your accounts will automatically be signed out when you leave.
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Exterior)
Truly the main hangout…is the large tree-shaded deck. At the far end of the deck is a cushioned, ratan sofa, love seat and chair surrounding a gas-powered fire pit. The sides of the deck also have a built-in bar top and stools for enjoyed beverages at the bar.
At the near end of the deck is an iron table and 6 chairs for dining al fresco. A gas-powered BBQ is nearby and perfect for cooking up some steaks or burgers.
GUEST AMENITIES
We provide a starter set of personal amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities such as dish soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens and bath towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in the laundry room. The kitchen is also stocked with the essential stapes: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices.
RULES for PET:
1.) No pets on the furniture EVER!
2.) No pets left inside the home unattended, unless crated.
3.) You must clean up after your pet does his business outside!

THE IMMEDIATE AREA
You are in Paso Robles Central! This home is just two minutes from the town square where there are dozens of wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, shopping and a farmer's market every Saturday morning. Downtown there are over 12 wine tasting rooms, along with a distillery and local craft breweries. The downtown City Park offers free summer concerts from June through August every Thursday night. Pack a picnic basket, a bottle of wine or two, your beach chairs and enjoy local musicians belting out everything from Jazz to Rock and Blues.
PROVISIONS
Smart & Final is the nearest grocer, located a few blocks away on Spring Street. In addition, Savage Spirits & Deli has an impressive deli (tri-tip grilled everyday for sandwiches) along with a great collection of spirits and beer. Another favorite located just a few blocks away…the new Paso Market Walk…filled with tasty treats for everyone. A few miles from town there is an Albertson's on Niblick and Trader Joe's is just down the road a bit on Vineyard Drive in Templeton. While at the Trader Joe's you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or head on over to the butcher, J&R Meats, for some grass-fed local meats and game. Back up in Paso you can find a few quality cheese shops, Vivant Fine Cheese and Di Raimondos Italian Market and Cheese Shop, along with some cigar shops, Boyd's and Third Base Market & Spirits.
RESTAURANTS
What goes best with wine…FOOD! Paso is packed with great restaurants. Stay a week or two so you can try all of them! Italian, French, Irish, Asian, Mexican, even Argentinean are just a few. From pizza to 5-course meals, Paso Robles has come of age in its dining options. Some of our favorites in Paso Robles include BL Brasserie, The Hatch, Thomas Hill Organics, Buena Tavola, Fish Gaucho, Street Side Ale House, The Alchemist, Andrea's on Pine and Jeffry's Wine Country BBQ. Just a bit to the south, in Templeton, offers a few more options including McPhee's where you can find some of the best wood-fired steaks in town.
ACTIVITIES
Wine, beer and spirits tasting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, water park, jeep rides, ziplining, Farmer's Markets, concerts at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, spas, beaches, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Cambria...take your pick. There are endless options to play until your heart's content. And don’t miss Paso latest attraction, Sensorio. Designed by artist, Bruce Munro, the “Field of Light” exhibition is a 15-acre walk-through experience through over 58,000 stemmed spheres.
