Welcome to our newly remodeled Adirondack getaway " The Mountain House". Nestled in the heart of Gore Mountain country, this house is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. It is walking distance to the Garnet Hill Cross Country ski/snowshoe trails. As the snow melts, explore nearby hiking and mountain biking routes or embark on a serene adventure at 13th Lake. For the daring spirit, whitewater rafting awaits. Inside, the house has undergone a complete transformation, offering modern comforts.
The space
Brand new Adirondack home located a short walk from cross-country skiing trails and 15 minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Resort. House includes a game room in the basement with ping pong table, air hockey table and flat screen TV.

Run of the entire house except the mechanical room and storage closet.

Plenty of parking for snowmobile or boat trailers.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the mountain house. It was as fantastic this year as it was last. The home is very clean and fully equipped with whatever we needed. The host Shannon is super responsive and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this home. Hope to be back next year.

Best trip ever!

The house was amazing from the time we got there until we left. The hosts provided so many amenities from shampoo to coffee pods! We loved the fire pit in the snow! The kids loved the game room. The beds were so comfortable! Perfect distance to Gore mountain. Can’t make one complaint. The hosts were so accommodating. Thank you for opening up your home. We plan to rent again!

We had a wonderful stay at Shannon's house. We've rented a few houses in Garnet Hill, and this was the nicest one yet. It is a brand new construction, and everything in the house was new and nice. I had to do some remote work, and unlike other houses we've rented, the wifi was fast and reliable. It also had a nice new smart television so my wife and i could relax and watch movies after our daughter was asleep. Will certainly rent again!
