Absolutely lovely place. The fenced in backyard is great for soaking in the hot tub after a long day at the lake. It’s close to the lake and restaurants. Plenty of space for a family stay. I can’t wait to return to the lake and this place.

The house is done up very nicely. I stayed for a quick work trip but was able to go to the lake in the evenings. It was very nice and close to the state park, very walkable.The host in the description does state that the house is situated around other run down houses, which is the case but it did not bother us. I wouldn’t let that sway your decision.

We loved our stay. The home was so cozy and inviting. We felt comfortable and at home there. The kitchen is well equipped, lovely bathroom with a great shower. Nice little backyard with a grill, which we enjoyed using. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We were sad to leave, we felt so at home there. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Truly lovely

This space was great for the 2 of us wanting a quiet get-away. We could easily walk the 2 blocks to the lake, also walked to Buckeye Brewery and The Boat Yard. The kitchen is well set up with all we needed. Everything was clean and the host was easy to communicate with.

Peaceful Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Buckeye Lake while in the area for work. We are so glad we extended our weekend! This home is close to the Buckeye Lake Dam Trail, the public kayak launch, and The Blue Heron Kitchen and Pub, which was absolutely delightful!
