Great location with all the amenities

Excellent Location and very nice property

The property was clean with a well stocked kitchen & other than a few minor things would be a perfect rental property. The location is the best part of this unit as it backs the pool area & is close to the pool gate which makes it super convenient for BBQing & pool time. The unit itself is lacking in some space. We missed having an area for shoes & other items as there is no closet or mudroom. The laundry is a stacked washer & dryer in a closet with nowhere for laundry, soap etc (we used the drawer of the small vanity in the powder room - which sufficed) The biggest downfall is the kitchen. It is very small with room for only one person. When the fridge door is open there is no room to move around & if there is another person in the kitchen they become trapped in the space behind the fridge door & the stove. There is no dining table just 4 bar stools on a counter that is really too small to eat off of. We appreciated the wagon, umbrella, cooler & many other beach items available for our use. Ola Properties/Gather are amazing when it comes to communicating & addressing issues. The garburator was broken the first time we used it and they had a new garburator installed the same day. If you happen to book on a site that has not been updated you should know that the golf cart is NOT included in the rental as we were led to believe from the listing.I would recommend this property for a vacation - just be aware of the few issues listed and enjoy beautiful Ko Olina!

Ko Olina lagoons are perfect for kids!

Walking to lagoon 4 - about 20-25 min. Driving - ~3-5 min. Community Pool - 1 min walk. Shopping center - 10 min drive / 40 min walk. Costco - 15 min driv Pros: * Access to Golf cart - super easy to get around Ko Olina. No parking benefits at the lagoons or shopping center (vs car), but still nice to have extra transportation in case if you need it. * This unit is close to the pool and we liked it. * Remodeled and pretty clean (see cons below) * Foldable utility wagon / sand toys / some floating devices / old fins are the in the garage. Wagon was especially nice when going to the beach with kids. * Drip coffee machine / blender / dishwasher / washing machine / dryer - all ok. Cons: * No baby stuff (crib or high chair). Although we bought a high chair and left it there, hopefully it will be available for the next guest. * No dining area. Kitchen isle is all you have. * Expect to buy all essentials yourself. Examples: had to buy extra spoons, forks as there wasn't enough for 5 people. No paper towels, 3 garbage bags were provided, no laundry detergent, mostly plastic plates, hotel style/tiny shower gel. * Pans - horrible. Couldn't fry an egg on it. Everything was sticking to it. Bought a few pans with no-stick coating. * Golf cart broke down and didn't get fixed until we left (last 5 days) * First floor accent carpet was pretty dirty. Provided vacuum is the cheapest one you can find so it wasn't doing much. We bought a big blanket for our infant to crawl on.
