Exceptional oceanfront villa with direct private access to the Caribbean Sea

This beautiful oceanfront house is the perfect destination for your holiday. The house is located south of the island in the “Punt Vierkant” area. This area is widely regarded to have the most beautiful oceanfront properties on the island of Bonaire. What makes this house even more unique is its waterfront location. One of the few rental properties available where you can pleasantly dive or snorkel from your backyard. The garden has a large plateau with stairs going down into the water. Making access into the calm blue Caribbean Sea easy and safe. With plenty of outdoor shaded seating areas including a gazebo at the water’s edge. Where you can relax, have dinner and watch the sunsets. If you don't want to go out in the ocean the property has a wonderful pool in which you can cool down and enjoy the views of the ocean and the garden. This property offers you the best views of Bonaire. Views of the dazzling sea, Klein Bonaire and the bay of Kralendijk. Chances are pretty good you will even see a pod of dolphins swimming by. If you are quick enough, have the opportunity to swim with them.
This spacious villa (app. 300m2) has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All windows have mosquito screened shutter style windows . The windows can be left open day and night to give the house a very airy and light feeling. A spacious fully equipped kitchen, making the house feel even more open and light. The house has gated private parking for two vehicles. A large garage offers plenty of storage for everything including dive gear, windsurf and kitesurf gear.
The location of this property is ideal. The villa is located in a very quiet and safe area of Bonaire. From a 7 minute drive to the center of Kralendijk, a 5 minute drive to the airport, to a 10 minute drive to Lac Bay (windsurfing) or Atlantis (kitesurfing). However, since some of the best snorkeling and diving is right in front of the house. You might not leave the house after all. Just gear up take three steps down and you are in the Caribbean Sea.
To make your stay even more comfortable, the property caretakers are available 7 days a week 24hours. The care takers will answer all your questions and meet all of your needs.

No one else is there, it is healthy with tons of fish. Easy access from the property, easy diving for beginners (we had 2).It was the perfect family vacation!

Beautiful spot, perfect for families

We loved the quiet spot, the gorgeous views, the lovely garden. Lots of little nooks for people to spread out. The kitchen was well supplied, everything worked. There are stairs down to the water and if the sea is calm, it’s an easy entry for swimmers and snorkelers. Plus, wonderful hosts!

Fantastic Home! Beautiful Views!

Our family came and stayed for a week at this beautiful home. The location is perfect, direct ocean access with a nice platform and not just a ladder. The management was great and very responsive. We had a wonderful week, not a single issue. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again!

I can't recommend this property enough!

This property was outstanding! We spent as little time as possible indoors but the house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are so many comfortable places to sit outside and enjoy the views...plenty of areas with sun or shade and a steady wind kept the bugs away. The lush greenery and water front made for some fun nature watching. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships come in, the lights at night in downtown Kralendijk, and the beautiful sunsets. It was an easy walk to Delfin's Resort for a bite to eat and short drive to lots of great snorkeling, food trucks and restaurants.

5 Star Oceanfront Villa with Tons of Space!

We chose this villa for our first stay in Bonaire and couldn't have been any happier. Great location on the island with lots of privacy and quick access to town, many amazing dive sites and the east side of the island. The Pelican's Nest is clean and modern with all the amenities you would expect -- the best of those being all the terrific outdoor seating and eating areas. Breakfast, cocktails or dinner all at different outdoor locations! Also, the owners were super helpful and responsive to any questions we had, including some great recommendations for dinner restaurants. If you are trying to find a private & luxurious 4 bedroom place in Bonaire, look no further - Pelican's Nest is it! We will definitely be back!!

Pelican’s Nest is a gorgeous cliff-side property with an incredible outside space. We enjoyed several dinners under the dimly lit, seaside gazebo - a better view than most restaurants can offer. We spent most afternoons lounging in the chairs outside, enjoying the amazing view, and swimming in the ocean with easy access by the private ladder. The house itself is spacious, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably house our family. We found that we were mostly outside, however, the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location can’t be beat. Our family traveled to various locations around the island for snorkeling, and the house is a quick driive no matter which direction you’re going. We particularly enjoyed it’s proximity to downtown Kralendijk, which had some great restaurants and cute shops. Thank you Matthieu for such an amazing vacation and also for being a very attentive host! We would definitely love to come back.

Property of Our Dreams!

From beginning to end, our stay at Pelican’s Nest was wonderful! All pre-trip communication with Fenna, Annemieke and Maurits was quick and easy. We were welcomed to Bonaire by Maurits, who met us at the airport, drove us to the house and kindly showed us around. A lovely basket of tasty treats and more was on the counter and cold drinks were in the fridge, which was a first for us at a rental property. Each day, we so enjoyed the awesome views of the beautiful turquoise water with Klein Bonaire in the distance. There was great snorkeling right off the patio deck and an interesting variety of wildlife that visited the garden, including iguanas, geckos, whiptails, land hermit crabs, and birds, such as the chatty, little Bananaquit, the singing, orange and black Troupial, and the talkative, colorful Brown-throated Parakeet. All contributed to a very ‘tropical feeling’, which is important to us. The house is quite comfortable, nicely outfitted with everything we needed, and the AC in the bedrooms allowed us to sleep well. Thank you, Matthieu, for a great stay! Pelican’s Nest is the best!!

Fantastic oceanfront house

Amazing house with AC in each bedroom right on the ocean. A perfect house for relaxing and soaking up the sun on Bonaire. Great neighborhood! Owners are very nice and make sure you are well taken care of while staying at their house. We will be back again soon!

Perfect Waterfront Property

The property manager, Fenna, met us at the airport, brought us to the property and welcomed us with a delicious welcoming gift complete wiht beer and wine! A first for us after 8 years using Vrbo host homes. Fenna also offered expert advice pre trip helping us plan activities, restaurants, etc. The house is perfect and the gardens/ backyard even better; swimming, snorkeling and diving right off the patio. Multiple deck and garden areas for dining or relaxing after a busy day. And large tarop visits every night putting on a nature shoow - can't say enough great things about thi beautiful home. Cleaning staffwas professional, thorough and fast.

Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe how nice the Pelican’s Nest is. The view is great. Access to the ocean is unbeatable. The house was as described online. Very clean. Well stocked with kitchen items. Beds were comfortable. Linens were nice. Back porch was great, nice and big with many seating options.

As two couples, we have stayed at numerous rental properties and this is a model property in every way. First, it is as lovely as it appears in the pictures, perhaps more so. The house functions SO well; there is space for gathering , for privacy, for cooking, dining, gear washing, lounging, swimming, luggage, even extra drink storage. The location is ideal for both doving and kiting, and is convenient to the airport and to downtown. Finally, Fenna, the property manager, is a true star. So friendly, so helpful, so responsive. This rental property is as good as gets. The four of us are now terrified that we will henceforth be disappointed as the bar as now been set at a new height. Don’t wait. Book now.

Absolutely beautiful property on the water.

The four bedroom house is roomy with nice sized bedrooms, 3 spa-like bathrooms (love the rain shower heads) and a central kitchen, dining room and living room. The bedrooms have AC, the central area got a bit warm- but we opened windows and had a breeze. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked quite a bit during the week. We also enjoyed making lattes in the Nespresso machine. The extra garage fridge was convenient to hold all the adult beverages our group enjoy. While the house is amazing, the backyard is the absolute best part of this property- large covered patio with couches and tables, landscaped walkways, swing, lounge chairs, hammocks and direct access to the ocean by steps! We swam, snorkeled and went diving out of our back yard. Heavenly sunsets were an added bonus. I highly recommend this property for a group of up to eight people.

Beautiful home and Excellent Owners

We just spent a week at The Pelican’s Nest. We were met at the airport by Fenna and followed her in our rental car to the property. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. The ability to dive/snorkel off the back patio was wonderful. The owners were very prompt with any questions we had and helped with everything from restaurant recommendations to entertainment suggestions. The bedrooms were nice and cool. The house had more than enough room and was very clean. Matthieu was very accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. I would recommend The Pelican’s Nest to everyone! We can’t wait to come back to Bonaire.

Perfection!

The backyard is as good as it looks in the pictures! You can’t believe how amazing it will be to swim, snorkel, and dive right from the house. We had one issue, but it was resolved quickly, which is all you ask for. This was our second stay in this house, and hopefully not our last.

Stunning

I can’t imagine a more perfect location or home on Bonaire. It was breathtakingly beautiful. As pretty as the photos are, the place is even nicer. Matthieu met us at the airport, took us to our rental car, and then showed us the specifics for the rental. He is very friendly, informative and attentive. You can snorkel or swim right off the deck…so relaxing. The night views of the island are stunning. I could go on and on, it was just a perfect vacation. We are all looking forward to returning to Pelican’s Nest. Thank you Matthieu!
