Extreme spider webs everywhere.. could not get into the house until we found something to remove them. Mold on ceiling. Fire alarm beeping when we got there. Notified host and made suggestions but no offer to dispatch assistance. Went out to purchase batteries, changed and still loud beeping. Husband electrician and able to disarm, at hosts approval. No tv or internet for the duration of visit. Host suggested that recent power outage caused issue, but internet appeared to be damaged prior to outage. Compensation denied. This home would never have been chosen if Internet was unavailable. It appeared that no one had been in this house for some time. We are two families that rent homes 2-3 times per year. We will never use this service again! As business owners, we would never treat our customers this way.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with the outage and connection issues during your stay. Unfortunately, the power surge that affected the Wi-Fi and modem was outside of my control, but I did my best to provide updates and assistance as quickly as possible. During your stay, the smoke detector was repaired, and it appeared that the power surge had also damaged the modem and router. The unit was removed for replacement, but since stores were closed at the time, service couldn’t be restored before your departure. As noted in the listing, high-speed Wi-Fi is provided but can’t be guaranteed for issues beyond my control. I made every effort to address the situation promptly and truly appreciate your understanding. I also want to mention that there were no reports or photos shared regarding spider webs or mold during your visit. Had that been brought up while you were here, I would have been happy to send the cleaners right away to take care of it. I really appreciate your husband’s effort in helping with the smoke detector during the outage, it was very thoughtful of him to go the extra mile. The home has since been checked and is in great condition, with everything ready for future guests to enjoy a smooth and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
