We had a wonderful time up at this Lac Vieux Desert cabin. Beautifully upgraded, very clean, great layout. While the driveway down to the lake is very steep, the heights of the cabin give great views of the lake. We loved sitting out on the deck and and enjoyed sunsets out on the dock -- even caught several fish right off the dock! We definitely hope to return!

Great cottage on Lac Vieux Desert

House was really nicely set up and very clean. Area was quiet and we really enjoyed getting out on the lake. Dustin was great and connected us with someone to rent a pontoon boat for part of the week.

Perfect lake escape

The house is tucked away on hill and not too close to the neighbors. The place has everything you need and want. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. So peaceful and beautiful. Dustin was a wonderful host.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful week in Phelps. The house is on a dead end street and the view was stunning. We saw an eagle perched in a tree everyday. Our boys caught blue gills, bass and northern right from the dock. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was also great. We would definitely stay again!

I have been going up to Lac Vieux Desert for about 45 years now. This was my first time staying at a VRBO and let me tell you this was the best stay in all my years. Dustins home and property are so incredibly gorgeous, cozy, and scenic. The inside of the home almost had me not wanting to go out fishing lol. My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary here and we couldnt have been more pleased with our decision. The beds were comfy. The great room was cozy. Sitting at the dining room table looking at at the lake every day was incredible. The internet worked perfectly. The dock was more than sufficient for our fishing boat for the week. The area to park my trailer for the week was great. Its a 1 minute boat ride to the boat launch which is convenient. Fishing for panfish off the dock was a blast, thanks for the tip. So quiet, so quaint, and so memorable. After staying at resorts most of my life on LVD, I will continue to use Dustins home so long as he keeps renting. Dustin was extremely communicative leading up to our stay, leaving us confident we were going to have a great experience, and did we ever. From my wife and I on our 9th anniversary, thank you so much Dustin. We never wanted to leave. Again if you ever sell, im a phone call away. Again thank you, thank you, thank you.
