Thanks for a great stay. The guest house was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The country setting made for wonderful weekend stay and the highlight was being met by your friendly pups!
We heartily enjoyed our stay with Andrea! She is a wonderful host. We forgot to bring eggs and she gave us a dozen fresh ones from her chickens. It's been a long time since we had farm eggs and these tasted fantastic. Her two Great Pyrenees pups, Kadi and Marco, were adorable. I only saw one donkey and two cats, but I understand there were more! The bunkhouse was beautiful. We loved all the incredible accents, old tools/equipment, and photos of your Amish neighbors. We kept finding new things over the five days of our stay. We were able to identify some of the old tools, but not all! There is a cool spiral staircase to the loft. We're both short and bumped our heads a couple times in the loft :) The bed was very confortable and we appreciated the fan.We had no trouble finding it. Google maps took us right there. We highly recommend staying here and plan to do so next year!
It was extremely clean with cute decorations. Owners were very friendly and kind. I would definitely stay there again. Warm and cozy accommodations and close to surrounding towns!
We headed to the Lanesboro area for a little r & r; discovered Sheldon and Andrea’s place, and it was the perfect retreat for what we needed! Clean, comfortable, well-appointed and an idyllic place to unwind!
Great place stay, host and animals were all very accommodating, good location to accessing different sections of the root river bike trail. Will be back.
What a great place, everything was perfect and Sheldon and Andrea were very nice and lovely hosts.Beyond charming, their guest house is so comfortable. We slept great, and there’s ample room in the kitchen to make meals. The location is wonderful and so quiet and meeting Kadi, Molly and the rescue animals was a treat.Highly recommended and we hope to come back!
The bunkhouse was decorated so tastefully and had everything we could possibly want. The owners are very sweet and the property was welcoming and immaculate. Highly recommend!
The cottage is a cozy quiet place in the country tucked in Amish country. The cottage well stocked and nicely decorated. The ceiling in the loft is very low, but otherwise a great stay.
Couldn't have been nicer! Andrea were perfect hosts and the rental was decorated beautifully! We went there to bike but rental was so comfortable it was hard to leave. Definitely would like to return!
I had a very relaxing week at this beautiful little farm. It is close to everything I wanted to do: Lanesboro and the theater, excellent restaurants, Amish home shops. And then I could come back to relaxing on the patio and watching the sun set!
