Central AC Modern Custom House in the heart of the Cape

The one-acre plot overlooks a tranquil cranberry bog and Vespers Pond via sun-dappled woods, with a rustic feel of the Cape. Enjoy modern amenities such as central air-conditioning, a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a living area with a 37' HDTV and a house stereo system. Other amenities include internet TV, Google Home, wireless internet, and free US calls.

The house offers 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms tastefully decorated with fine furniture. On the ground floor are a spacious master suite with a queen bed, a private bath, and a laundry closet. The living area and bedroom have beautiful hardware floors with rugs. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms branching off a sunny sitting area for kids to hang out or play board games. These cozy, sky-lit rooms have a queen and a twin bed in each of them. Next to the sitting area is a spacious full bath with dual sinks. An additional bathroom with a shower can be found on the lower level.

Whether this is your family vacation, wedding, anniversary, graduation, or romantic getaway, your stay in this cozy and lovely home will surely be memorable.

Please make yourself at home when you come and enjoy many touches and numerous amenities. Use the 2-person hammock, beach chairs & umbrellas, cooler, and bikes, even fishing rods, as long as they are kept clean and returned to their original locations in the basement. Don't forget to bring your favorite music, as you can hook the payer to our house stereo for everyone to enjoy.

A key lock is provided for guests to access the house, there is no issue with late arrival or early departure. The detailed location and the code will be provided a few days before check-in.

Tucked away in a pleasant residential area near Rt 6A, the house is near some of the finest Cape Cod attractions - National Seashore Park, beaches, Nickerson State Park, and the Cape Cod Bike Trail. Many quintessential shops, galleries, Supermarkets, and restaurants along route 6A are easily accessible.

From late June to Labor Day peak season, only weekly rental is accepted with Sat change over. The quality linens and towels are provided with the cleaning fee, which is atypical in Cape's weekly rental. Many of our guests travel far. We understand that it is important for the guests to settle in as soon as they arrive without worrying about anything.

The washer and a dryer are located on the first floor of the master bathroom suite. Detergent and dryer sheet provided. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion is also provided, along with Iron and hair dryers, and sewing/first aid kits.

Wonderful Cape Cod home

This home was a joy to stay at! It is stocked with everything you could possibly need which makes a week long vacation feel very easy and enjoyable. We especially liked that the house provides towels, sheets, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. The house's proximity to Skaket and Nauset beaches is incredibly convenient and allowed us to go to one beach during the day for swimming and to the other in the evening for a stroll along the water. The owner's communication was consistently thorough, and he was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. We would definitely rent here again!

The property had everything we needed and more. We're just sorry we didn't stay a few more days. We brought some things thinking it wouldn't really have what it said but we were wrong. It was in a nice location. The area was quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck. We used the grill. The house was a nice size for our family and friends. We didn't quite figure out the override on the reset for the air conditioning so that was a little frustrating to have to reset the air back down every time we arrived back to the house but all in all, everything else was great. We would definitely rent here again and would recommend to others.

A tranquil oasis

We loved our stay at Dawn's house. It's a beautiful, quiet home with a magnificent back deck overlooking a wooded area and a view of a pond in the distance and with it's own lily pond. Everything you could possibly need is supplied and it is clear that Dawn has put a lot of love into her home. The A/C was much appreciated during the late July heat wave. The location is convenient to beaches, hiking and shopping. We hope to return.

Our family, including adult children, thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable and well-maintained home. The provided linens, kitchen, A/C, etc. made the stay easy and relaxing. Dawn gave us great recommendations for beaches, restaurants and historic sites on our first visit to the cape, and she was great to work with. July 6-13 stay

We had a wonderful stay at Dawn’s house the week of July 6. Small snag when we got there with the fire alarms, but it was resolved and wasn’t an issue for the rest of our stay. The house was clean when we arrived and had everything that our family of four needed. There was more than enough room for all of us and could have even had another family stay with us, there was that much room. Really, no complaints about this house or the process.

Beautiful home in a great location

My family and I stayed at Dawn's beautiful home on our first trip to Cape Cod in August. This home is very nice and well maintained as well as large allowing for plenty of room for my family with 2 adult children. The home is very well stocked with everything we needed, perhaps the best stocked home I have rented on Homeaway. Dawn provides everything you need for a great vacation. The location is near several beaches and the Cape Cod trail which my family of runners and bikers used daily. Close to everything from PTown, to Chatham to Orleans to Brewster, all an easy ride from this central location. Dawn was a pleasure to work and responds quickly to all questions or concerns.

A wonderful Property and an owner who has your comfort in mind!

Our family has just completed a wonderful trip to the Cape. Our visit was made immeasurable better by our selection of this property for our stay. The home is centrally located, includes full amenities to make the stay more enjoyable and is immaculate. Set on a bucolic lane, the home afforded easy access to all of the Capes attractions and beauty. Terrific restaurants and near-by retail abound. If you are looking for a great place to stay in the Lower Cape you can do no better.

Comfortable house, great for family vacation

We had a family wedding in Boston, and decided to make it a mini Cape vacation. Dawn is very accessible and responds promptly to emails. We have some chemical sensitivities in our family, and Dawn immediately agreed to have all the linens washed in unscented soap at my request. We really appreciated that. The house was roomy enough so that five adults and one baby were easily accommodated. We liked the full kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms! The beds were very comfortable. We had some cold weather, so we appreciated that there was heat. Everyone had a great time!

We were unhappy with the exterior - particularly the deck, decking was uneven, boards by the shower had holes and many boards were splintered, no place for a child to play. I requested a 20% refund. I was accused of extortion by the owner. I guess that's their standard reply. I have photos proving my statements but Homeaway won't allow them . . .

Great Vacation Home - Has everything you need

My family and I had a wonderful week at this beautiful, spacious home in Brewster. Nice private quiet setting, with large very private deck in the back. Dawn provides everything you need so you can spend your time just enjoying the Cape and all it has to offer. Wonderful place is worth the drive from Philly

This beautiful house is set back in a nice wooded and private area with great landscaping. We enjoyed meals on the large back deck with views of Vesper Pond at sunset. Inside, the spacious rooms are impeccably clean, nicely furnished, and well supplied for everything you would need. Dawn was great with communicating with us. Everything was so close to us: the beach, the bay, shopping. Brewster's central location is also great for taking day trips to the other parts of the Cape without having to spend forever in the car. My whole family had a wonderful time!

Fantastic week!

We appreciate the opportunity to share our home with you, together with our love for the Cape - its unparalleled natural beauty, rich history, and culture. I have hosted guests for 6 years and rated as a super host. The photos at the end are some of my favorite spots near the house shot by myself.

As a family, we enjoy travel, meet new people, and explore different cultures.

Why they chose this property

This modern Cape house was custom-built by a local builder for his own family in 2000. It has a beautiful, professionally designed landscape and distinct architectural features like a wrap-around porch and a giant deck. The woody backyard is very private, surrounded by a working cranberry bog down on one side, and Vesper pond on the other.

With 15 mins drive, you can get to all the pristine beaches in the Cape, either in the National Seashore, or in surrounding towns like Dennis, Orleans, or Chatham. The closest Brewster beach is Crosby Landing, about 1.5 miles away. It is free to park after 3 pm to soak the sun or view the sunsets after dinner. Hop on the bike from the house, you can tour the Cape on its amazing 22 miles bike trails.

What makes this property unique

We strive to provide 5-star service with homey comfort and a unique local experience. We have proudly hosted many guests across the US and abroad for six seasons!

It is easy to start your day with us. Use coffee, tea, pasta, and cooking condiments, just refill them at a later time. We have a full set of appliances for you: drip coffeemaker, toaster, instant cooker, and rice-maker, blender, and even a bread maker!

We had hardwood floors installed for the upstairs in 2020 and the backyard deck upgraded for 2018!

Enjoy a wonderful BBQ dinner on the quiet, full deck with family and friends, marveling at the light reflected from the pond water, and birds chirping in the woods ahead of us.
