Visit all the Locals Favorites: Paddy's Raw Bar, Blue Parrot and Yummy snacks & Togo meals from the Captains Corner Convenient store or pick up groceries at the Original Blue Store/ Piggly Wiggly right on SGI. If you decided to leave the island you can enjoy a delicious Pizza and Yummy Craft beers from Eastpoint Beer Company just across the bridge on Hwy 98., Great Fried Seafoods from The Red Pirate or some Tasty Vibations from Bar 98. Anniversary Weekend

This was my husband and I's one year wedding anniversary, so we were extremely excited to get away and finally have alone time together, as life is so hectic with work and kids. Upon arrival, we were quite confused. We didn't know the owners lived on site. The rental listing did not state anything to that nature. This was very upsetting. We thought that the top loft is where we would be staying for the weekend. Nope. That’s where the owners live. We would be staying in the mother-in-law suite right underneath the loft. They were very friendly and welcoming, so I decided to just make the best of it. The first night was pleasant, the rental was very cute, clean and had everything we needed and more. The next day, we were taken by surprise when we were told that their friends lived there as well, in the camper. After galivanting all day on Saturday, we came back ready to grill and enjoy a fire at the fire pit to unwind for the evening. Little did we know we would be greeted by 7 people. The couple that lived there, the couple in the camper and three others, together at the fire. This was a huge bummer and so frustrating as we were not able to use the amenities that were supposed to be included in our stay. Not only could we not have alone time nor quiet time, as this is what this trip was intended for, but it was not so peaceful with all the talking, drinking and their late-night card game that they had above us on their porch. Cute and Cozy Stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rusty Tub! It’s such a cute and cozy little place! It was just as advertised and perfect for a quick getaway! Lisa was so welcoming and provided everything we needed for our stay! We cannot wait to come back and stay!

My husband and I live on the property and work on SGI. We have 2 dogs and we also have 2 rv hooks on opposite side of the rental, for our friends and family that come to visit from time to time.
We love cooking out and hanging around our large firepit area in the front yard with local friends and family, This is a common area to the property. Everyone is welcome in that area. The rental has a private outdoor area with a park style grill just outside the unit. We love to entertain so if your looking for some friendly interactions, you'll will love it. If you want time alone, you can have that to. Hope to meet you SGI awaits!
