WELCOME TO PARADISE!!! we sanitize!!!!! We have implemented a system so you are able to check in and out without and person to person contact. We care about safty.
This beautiful new Carriage House is located in Prestigious Fresh Pond Estates. It sits tucked away in the woods off the main roads, Plenty of privacy in a quiet neighborhood. Yet has easy access to beaches, bike paths and town, Fresh water pond in your back yard. (3 two person kayaks available plus 2 single kayaks for your use, with life jackets). (THEY EACH SEAT 2 PEOPLE) Fresh water swimming offers calm waters which makes it great for the kids.

We sanitize the entire place in-between each tenant. We wash all comforters each time someone new comes in, we bleach all surfaces and alcohol all door handles, toilet, air out the place for 24 hrs...

Just 2 miles from the HEART of Oak Bluffs & Circuit Avenue activities.
Oak Bluffs center offers, restaurants, movies, the nation's first carousel, shopping, and more beaches.
Just 500 feet from bike path, This property is centrally located a 5 minute drive to Edgartown or Vineyard Haven.

Wonderful Find on Martha’s Vineyard

The property was centrally located - Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs and Edgartown are all easily accessed. Brenda, the host, was extremely welcoming, taking us on a tour of the property, which is beautiful. The property was fully equipped and had nice touches and extras.Definitely a place we would like to come back to visit

Wonderful apartment cycling distance to great places

The host is really one of the best parts of this property, making check in and check out so easy and accommodating. We only rented bikes on the island, no car, and this property ws cycling distance to shark bridge beach, Edgartown and of course Oak Bluffs. Lovely Golf Club down the same road too. The apartment has so many useful items - an abundance of towels and beach stuff and games all for guests to use.

Comfortable stay near Oak Bluffs

Check in was easy, the place was comfortable and just as described. The kayaks were fun and we used the bicycles to get around via the bike paths. OB was an easy 3 mile ride while Edgartown was about 5 miles. Enjoyed the property and our stay on M. V. very much. Hope to return in the near future.

Carruaje House provides the perfect getaway in a prime area of Martha’s Vinyard. Located away from the crowds but close enough for essy access, it is a lovely two bedroom hideaway. The beds are super comfortable with copper woven mattress toppers for rejuvenating sleep. As a crazy Californian from Malibu, health and cleanliness are paramount. I traveled with a young, beautiful companion who had an extraordinary time. Brenda was a great host. My deep gratitude.

Gorgeous, clean, tranquil spot in OB!

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend for our 1 year anniversary/baby moon and had the best time! The owners are so thoughtful and responsive, the property has everything you need and is just like the pictures. It is above the garage, which is not in use during summer and they have special sound proofing so you truly do not notice at all. Highly recommend!

Birthday on the Vineyard

Brenda is the ultimate host. She went out of her way to decorate in celebration of my birthday, left excellent instructions on how to access the bikes and Kayaks, and invited us to her private pool and fireworks party. The carriage house is spacious, clean and conveniently located to everything!

Simple + Perfect = Simply Perfect Stay

This house was ideal for our needs and family. The location is close to both OB and Edgartown, which we found very convenient. A 7 min ride to our favorite beach, State Beach. The host went above and beyond with responsiveness and attentiveness (when we needed her). The property is very clean, cozy, and even has a closet full of toys! This was a lovely and very helpful surprise. We’ll be back!

Our family of 5 stayed in the 2-bedroom carriage house attached to Brenda's beautiful house. We had a terrific stay! The carriage house was immaculate, had every amenity we needed, had its own private entrance and patio, and we really enjoyed the flowered, landscaped grounds that her husband cares for himself with perfection. (He's a professional landscape designer). We loved the gorgeous pond, our kids enjoyed the kayaking, and the hosts were a lovely couple. Brenda brought a platter of homemade cookies and treats to us each evening, and was a delightful person to chat with. I'm not sure why the previous reviewer was so unhappy. We were delighted with our stay, and will indeed plan to rent from Brenda again. Thanks for the lovely accommodations, Brenda!

Great Family Getaway

The carriage house was a great match for our family of four. It was the perfect amount of space, and the amenities were plentiful. We loved the location, because it was in a small, quiet neighborhood, but you were only a short drive from anywhere you wanted to be. The inside of the unit was very clean, comfortable, bright/sunny, and updated, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and we also made use of the grill on the patio. The patio was beautiful, comfortable, and private. The grounds were amazing and we spent quite a bit of time at the pond, swimming and kayaking. We used two of the bikes provided (there were four bikes, but we brought two of our own), and were able to easily access the bike path, which is right at the end of the road. The owners were very nice, responded quickly to inquiries, and were easy to work with. The only unfortunate part was that we weren't able to stay longer!!
