Private 2 Room Home on Mountain in Idaho Springs

Enjoy a private yet centrally-located mountain side home .5 mile from downtown Idaho Springs & Indian Hot Springs. It’s a 2 room unit attached to the main home but separated with its own private entrance. Unit includes mountain views & sits on a half acre with a large fenced in yard open to your dog(s). Our home backs up to Arapaho national forest (.25 mile away). Enjoy hiking, camping, ATV, rafting, ziplining, fishing, and numerous ski resorts all within 25-60 min. **PLEASE READ BELOW**

The space
2 room unit. Each room has its own exterior door and door separating the rooms. Main bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom. Second bedroom/room is common living area with a couch that pulls out into a double foam bed. The second room/living area also has a kitchenette with a café table, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and sink.

Guest access
Driveway is a available for you to park your car. Please note that the driveway is steep and since it shares with the main property if you need to bring additional vehicles please arrange beforehand and we are happy to accommodate.

Additionally, parking is available downtown and there is a bus route in town to transport you to surrounding areas.

**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ**

The property is located on a mountain. The road to the property and the driveway is paved but it's a steep road and driveway. In the winter months (October through May), we see frequent snow which can make roads slippery/icy. Please take into consideration proper vehicle (i.e. 4WD, snow tires, snow chains etc.) and traction laws during the winter months. Please understand we are not responsible if your vehicle cannot make it to the property and we cannot help if you get stuck.

In addition, we have a couple of dogs that live on the premise (all friendly). The yard is quite large and fenced in and they may be out there during the day. Please be conscious to close the gate when you enter/exit.

Lastly, we are very dog friendly and enjoy furry friends. But if you are bringing a dog(s) during your stay, please be sure they are house trained and you pick up after your dog in the yard. If you plan to leave the dog(s) alone at the unit they must be crated and comfortable with house noises (i.e. both me and my partner work from home so the dog(s) can’t bark the entire time left alone).
