The Whispering Pine is a beautiful three-story classic beach house located in Blue Mountain Beach; just a short five-minute cruise from the Gulf. Nestled in a quaint and quiet gated neighborhood and positioned on a dead-end street, this tranquil home is surrounded by trees and is the perfect peaceful retreat for vacationers. Located directly across from the Point Washington State Forest and the Long Leaf Pine hiking and biking trails. enthusiasts love exploring the forest's trails and our 5th most biodiverse ecosystem in the US. The backyard is private and open for our guests to enjoy, featuring a swinging hammock that backs up to state-protected wetlands, which connect the Draper Lake tributary with natural springs. Well in the backyard you’ll either hear the golf roaring or the calming sound of the natural springs that provide a calming atmosphere for everyone to relax and unwind. The oversized front porch swing is perfect for two people to lounge, while the upper and lower porch decks offer stunning views for sunsets or to listen to the ocean’s roar.

Blue Mountain Beach has a variety of award-winning restaurants featuring local acoustic musicians who offer live music almost every night. Guests can also visit unique local art galleries in this true artist community. For a fun night out with family, there are plenty of sweet treat options just a few minutes away by golf cart. Perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of 30A, yet only a few minutes from award-winning pristine beaches for lazy lounging beach days.

Forest Lakes neighborhood is an absolute gem of a community, giving vacationers a feel for what living in South Walton is like.
