Behind the house there are hills and groves announcing the Darien jungle (one of the densest in the world). The place is characterized by its calm and the surrounding wilderness and the fascination produced by the Caribbean Sea. The village is located 1 mile away, it's accessed on foot, bicycle or on horseback; there is everything you need in several shops as well as many restaurants and bars; in the center is the small pier for access to Spazuro, La Miel (panama 20 minutes) or Acandi with its famous beach where just laid the Turtles Gaña during the months from March to May, or visit the Aguacate with sand beaches several kilometers long. You can also go scuba diving with several interesting spots or enjoy the snorkeling 10 meters from the edge of the seabed; you can also do fishing from the beach, or do sport fishing with a local fisherman (that is a great an easy experience). If you like horseback riding and love the wilderness you can do hiking inside the grove with a guide (the majordom of the Finca ) and see some wildlife such as boa, iguana, monkey, toucan, parrots, macaws and all the birds of paradise; not to mention the flora that will leave you dazzled. Access to Capurgana is in Lancha from Turbo or Acandi (best to make this journey by boat during the months from July to November) or by plane straight from Medellin with the SEARCA company or by Bogota, Pereira with ADA aeroline, then lancha from Acandi to Capurgana (20 minutes). Anyway we will pick you up at the airport or port to get you on the site (There are no cars in Capurgana so it will be in a wagon pulled by horses).
