Very comfortable, well appointed cabin. Very fun walking trails and of course, the private pond. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the property as well. Specific call outs - plenty of nice linens, kitchen had nice wares and was not lacking anything, appreciated the sliding doors (no steps), plenty of fresh air w sliding doors and windows, owner’s instruction manual outlined everything well, great food choices close to the cabin. Truly enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful cabin! We had such a great stay. It was stocked with so many essentials, and so nice to have the firewood ready to go too! We used the lake, took many walks, brought our ATVs and went for rides…the perfect way to spend the 4th! We’d love to stay again!
We have stayed in a lot of houses, and I think this was our favorite! Plenty of parking for 4 trucks and trailers. The house was really nicely thought out and very clean. They have a ton of outdoor seating, which easily accommodated our group of 8. We went up to ride our side x sides, and this property was pretty close to the trails we like. The beds were AWESOME!! Overall, it was just a great place to stay. We would definitely come here again.
We loved our stay! It was such a nice getaway in the woods. I really enjoyed the trail to the lake and had the opportunity to paddle board!Very organized and beautiful place!
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Photos don’t do it justice. The property was perfect for our family, with great walking trails and plenty of space for the kids and dogs to run around and explore. We especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, exploring the trails, and taking in the beautiful fall scenery. The kids loved it! The hosts were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. Restaurant right down the road. ATV trails near by. Such a great spot for a family getaway, especially if you’re traveling with kids and dogs. We would definitely stay again!
This is the 2nd time our group has stayed at the Cabin in the Pines. It was once again clean and comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. The location is great.
Generous amount of amenities and extremely clean. Very private location. Really appreciate the ability to just book a few days rather than a whole week and that it's dog friendly.

Jamie and her crew were great guests. So thoughtful, considerate, clean and cared for the home like their very own. Would love to host Jamie and her crew anytime.
Very welcoming hosts! This is the only property I can ever find that allows 2 dogs of any size but even if I found another one I'd chose this one. The fact that you have a restaurant/bar to walk to is the best! Downtown Spooner is just a short drive away. Highly recommend staying here any time of year.
Our family had a fantastic time at this beautiful location. The home was amazing and communication with the host was easy and delightful!

Thank you Isabella. We enjoyed hosting you and crew. Thank you for taking such great care of everything and communication so well. We would love to host you again anytime.
Loved this cabin! We have been coming to this area for years and we were looking for a new cabin to stay at and this one was perfect. Hosts were wonderful and responded to any questions very quickly. The cabin is beautiful and the layout was great too. Location is central to several of the local towns that have fun things to do.
The Cabin in the Pines is a very cute place with a beautiful outdoor area. We really enjoyed our stay. The walk down to the lake is well maintained and very pretty. It was very easy to get our questions answered while we were there. The restaurant down the road was so convenient and also had good food.
Great place with privacy yet close to attractions. We spent hours at the private lake as well as the neighboring lakes. When we sent messages to the host they were answered quickly. We were surprised by the amount of amenities that are provided. Our stay easily rates a 10/10.
This was the nicest VRBO we have stayed at so far. Brian was very thoughtful checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the patio by the fire. This was the first time we could bring our dog along which was wonderful. We hope to come back soon!
Cabin offers great privacy yet in a short walk you can be at a fun supper club - Mackenzie landing. Also, a short drive in to the town of Spooner will surprise you with some nice shops/galleries. Nice trails for some decent walks and the private lake is a great place to hang out. The heated floors and the gas fireplace were great. Cabin is very warm and comfortable. Outdoor space is enjoyable with low smoke fire pit to enjoy. Host is very responsive.
We had 6 guys stay for a weekend, for an annual golf tournament held in Spooner. The cabin fit our group comfortably. We really didn’t spend much time there but the time we did spend there was very nice and relaxing. Having McKenzie Landing so close was a great option to walk to for a good meal and a couple cocktails. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, check in-out instructions were very clear and the communication with the owners was great. We will most likely be looking to book it again next year!
