Enjoy a relaxing stay at this beautiful home on Dunn Lake! The lake home can be enjoyed at all times of the year! Swimming, fishing, kayaking, a bonfire with smores, and relaxing in the hammock are just a few activities guests can enjoy! PET FRIENDLY!

The home has 4 bedrooms with 6 beds total. The 3rd and 4th full bedrooms are connected and open. Home also has two full bathrooms, two living rooms, dining area with complete kitchen set, washer & dryer, and mud room.

There is a non refundable pet fee of $75

Please note there is A/C at this property :)

Please be aware that guests will not have access to a full size boat during their stay (paddle boat & kayaks are available). Guests can bring their own boat for personal use on the lake. Please reach out to hosts if you have any boating or docking questions before or during stay.

Cushions for the swing & outdoor furniture can be found in the storage unit under the deck.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
To help our cleaners, please strip sheets of the beds that were used. Please put only used sheets and towels in the laundry room.
Please start dishwasher, return items back to their original place, securely wrap any fish remains or food items before placing it in the garbage outside, & pick up any of your pet’s waste in yard.
Before you leave, please make sure the lights are turned off, and the front door + lower level door in the living room basement are both locked. Thank you!

Everything about this property especially the host our families Christmas was almost a loss due to our appliances going out and water at the last minute we were stuck !!! Thank god for people like Andrew our host and this simple spacious warm beautiful home the house was even Decorated lovely for Christmas we were even accommodated with a early check in quiet easy piece of little little heaven our family greatly appreciated this simple but Amazing property!!!!!

This was the perfect stay in an amazing home with a beautiful view and no lack of things to do whether you want to relax or be active. There was a high chair for my 18 month old, video games for me and a dog bowl and toys set up for my Frenchie. We all had a blast.

The property is very nice. Great view of the lake. The interior had all that we could want. The only thing that we wanted was a TV that had instructions as we could not watch either the Brewer game or Packer game. Five of us sat around the table and watching the Packer game on a small Computer.

This place was phenomenal! The view from the bay window was exceptional. We went here during the winter break to get away. We packed a lot of food to "unplug" and be in solitude. The bay window and popcorn machine were the highlights. We were able to bring our dog with us and Andrew was very accommodating.There were so MANY movies and DVDs to choose from. We didn't take advantage of the arcade games downstairs. We got snowed in, which we did not mind.Before the snow came, we were able to eat in town. The center of Spooner was only 15-20 minutes away from the cabin. We were able to visit a well-stocked bookstore, restaurants, and grocery store. The location is very convenient and quiet. This will be our winter destination for sure.Andrew was an excellent host and very responsive. He was available to answer questions and promptly address minor problems during our stay. He arranged for the plow promptly and we were able to leave the property without any problems despite the snow storms. Highly recommend this place if you want a combination of convenience and solitude.

Our family enjoyed staying at this beautiful lake home! There was plenty to do for adults and children including biking, fishing, kayaking and swimming. The water is crystal clear with a mostly sandy bottom around the pier. We caught several fish right off the pier. We enjoyed watching the eagles fly around the lake and watching the loons swim. The house was well stocked and clean. We had no problems and would definitely stay here again!

Long Weekend

My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Even though the outside temperature was freezing we still had a great time playing games and doing puzzles that the house provided. We also had a good time fishing and I would absolutely stay here again!

Paradise on the Lake

This house was beyond our expectations! Plenty of room for 7 people plus a dog. The rental had everything you need plus what you didn't think you would need. Just bring food. Economart grocery store is 24 hours and about 20 minute drive. It's the first place we have rented where we actually said "I think this house has it all". The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. We loved the easy lake access. Our teenage sons were pretty much on dock whole time fishing. We caught largemouth bass, a Northern, crappie, tons of blue gill, and pumpkin seed. We used the paddle boat and kayaks. My son's got in the water (too cold for us adults still) and were fishing, caught some bass. They played basketball and rode bikes a little just in driveway. Every morning a bald eagle would fly by. We had deer in the yard. Enjoyed listening to the loons. Plenty of games and DVD's, sadly we didn't get a chance to utilize those cause we spent most of our time outdoors. Ninja turtle arcade game was played a few times. My husband loved the popcorn maker and now says we have to get one. Peaceful and quiet area. Beautiful lake and house. Even our dog didn't want to leave. My son's are asking if we can go back there! Truly thank you for renting your beautiful home to us! Fantastic short 4 nights, 5 days. Side note: Two restaurants we ate at that were fantastic, Sam Hicks in Spooner. Lakeview Bar & Grill in Shell Lake.
