We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the lake was beautiful. The sunsets were especially gorgeous and made for a perfect way to end the day. It was a peaceful place to relax and enjoy some time away. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at Lakeside Lookout. The property now has recent renovations that are beautiful, making it even better than our first stay (didn’t think that was possible). Very comfortable, well laid out for our multi-generational family. The setting is serene, lake views are amazing, indoor and outdoor amenities include everything for a great vacation. Great host who cares about offering a top notch property for an excellent guest experience.

Everything we needed and wanted was right there! Great property-caught lots of fish (some right from the dock!) and rented a small fishing boat from Dave at Bashaw Lake Resort for a few days. Beautiful small lake! Great communication-would definitely sray here again!

From start to finish we had pleasant and relaxing stay at this trouble-free VRBO. Check in was smooth and easy with good communication from our host. The home was neat, clean, and very comfortable. 3 generations of our family totally enjoyed our long weekend at the Lakeside Lookout. This well-stocked cabin is on a quiet lake, Bashaw Lake in Burnett County, WI, which is less than 2 hours from the Twin Cities. The A/C and ceiling fans were much appreciated during our hot and humid stay. Our granddaughters loved the Sharing Shack, which had lawn games, life jackets, fire sticks and the best of all, a Lily Pad. They spent a lot of their time doing gymnastics on the Lily Pad in the water. They also caught some sunfish right from the dock. The SUPs and kayaks were also used by all. The kitchen had all that we needed and the beds were comfortable. We ended each night playing cribbage, as a family, on their wonderful cribbage board which was also a lake map. All agreed, we need to come back next summer!!

I simply can't say enough about the stay we had at Lakeside Lookout! The cabin was perfect , and what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. The cabin is comfortable and clean and has everything you need for the stay. The added bonus of the pontoon boat is tremendous and makes the stay that much more enjoyable. The views of the lake are stunning and the lake itself is great for fishing as well as just hanging out and enjoying your day. Communication with the host was top notch. Jeremiah provided easy directions and check in information as well as checking in with us during our stay. Each question came with an immediate response and helpful information. We have been renting on VRBO for the past six years either for long weekends or longer stays in and around Hayward, Spooner, and Chetek area. I never stopped to think about ranking them or which was my favorite, but after this stay, I would unquestionably rank Lakeside Lookout as the top location we have rented Up North.
