Located next to the Pacific Ocean in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Junto Al Mar is the paramount vacation destination best suited for a variety of vacation opportunities. Junto Al Mar also offers an exclusive haven for weddings and honeymoons. Conveniently located near beautiful beaches and an assortment of nightlife activities, Junto Al Mar presents the ideal location to best accommodate your next company retreat.

Casa Junto Al Mar consists of 5,500 square feet of luxurious light filled living and ocean view terraces. Enjoy the panoramic view which stretches from Bacocho beach all the way to La Punta de Zicatela. From December to March you can also see whales, dolphins and stingrays. A private path will take you to the ocean front, where you can enjoy the waves crashing into the rocks, explore the 'cueva del amor', hunt for shells, or try your luck at fishing.

The house is located a short walk from Rinconada where you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, shops and 2 super markets.

The house is available for rent year-round and provides comfortable accommodation for up to 15 people with a maximum capacity of 20. It is boasts a fully equipped kitchens, 5 bedrooms each with A/C and private bath, a large dormitory with 5 double beds, and a living room with multimedia center. Rooms are double occupancy. The huge (40' x 25') private infinity pool that overlooks the ocean is one of our most popular features. This unique house is available for family reunions, honey moons, business retreats and private parties.

The house was lovely, the location was excellent, the infinity pool and view were out of this world special. I was concerned about having staff around so much, but Gemma was wonderful. We appreciated the delicious dinner that was cooked for us on Thanksgiving and having hot coffee and bread in the morning.

Perfect family vacation house

We couldn't have chosen a better or more comfortable home for our family trip to Puerto Escondido. The house itself was so clean and comfortable, though we spent the majority of our time around the pool (with its incredible view).The location was a perfect walking distance to the main strip with all of the restaurants and shops, as well as conveniently close to the beach. Super quiet, but also safe.Alex was beyond helpful with check-in and troubleshooting any questions. Would absolutely book again!

Great spot for a group

Great house for a stay in Puerto Escondido. It's large and spacious and close to restaurants. The pool is amazing and has a great view. There is no access to the beach from the backyard but there are beaches a short drive away. The house is close to a popular viewing spot down the street where people come to watch sunsets. Overall, it was a great place and would recommend.

We had a wonderful time. The house was great with plenty of space, excellent beds (which is not always the case in Mexico), well stocked kitchen, beautiful pool and hosts that were concerned that we had a great stay. We had 14 adults and 4 kids stay. There was plenty of space for everyone. Working with Edith and Miguel made things easy and convenient. The pool and outdoor area were amazing!

Scenic Views and Nice Location

Large villa with plenty of rooms and beds to sleep guests. Beds and rooms are comfortable with nice AC. Pool was great and a nice amenity to have. Great views as well and can hear the ocean from the home as well. Walkable distance to beaches and to the Rinconada area which has some markets and nice places to eat. Staff was very kind and helpful, prepared a very nice dinner of us one night. Property manager was helpful in putting us in contact with fishing charters etc.

Amazing

A beautiful home with the most amazing view morning, noon and night. Enjoy watching the whales in the comfort of the infinity pool. Communication was spot on. I highly recommend this home to be enjoyed with family and friends.

Unbelievable views! Heavenly sunrise and sunsets

The house is absolutely beautiful and spacious. The pool are is gorgeous, with spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. Great location close to restaurants and shops, (try El Cafecito Restaurant for breakfast). Everything was clean and well kept, and the staff was helpful and kind. My only minor negative was the fan in master bedroom was loud, but truly it was a minor thing. Cannot wait to come back!

General review

If you are travelling with a large group, this place is ideal. 5 main bedrooms each with private bathroom allows for total independence while providing for social gatherings in the common area and pool. Ideally located a short walk from the Rinconada where restaurants are plentiful but tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. And, you just can’t beat the ocean view.

Incredible Property!

Casa Junto al Mar was everything we hoped for and so much more. The house itself is absolutely stunning, and Miguel, Gemma, and the staff made the stay over the top amazing. They are so helpful and available to support with anything- from helping us set up dinners cooked by Gemma and the girls, to giving recommendations for excursions, or picking up drinks for our first night. Everything was beautiful and we are already looking forward to booking again in the future!

Amazing stay in Puerto

We had an amazing stay at Miguel's home. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool overlooking the cliffs was awesome. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The best part was the service from the staff. We had Gemma and her team fix us breakfast and lunch every day. It was amazing. Can't wait to return!

Paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay at this dreamy property. We were a large group of 12 friends and there was ample space for all. So incredible to have this gorgeous pool and incredible view to ourselves - a peaceful retreat in the vibrant local community. The property was even better than pictured/expected. Great house, great experience.

We were a group of 18 people and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. The spaces are perfectly distributed and the location of the house is perfect too. We had problems with the electricity and water for about 12 hours, but the manager was always interested and attentive to resolve the situation. We would definitely return to the same place, thank you very much.

This is one of my 5-star virbo locations. The residence gives you accommodations for induvial space or community spacing as mentioned space enough for 2 -20. The view is great, and the location give you access to all the beaches via local transportation. There are areas for the young and older generations, to include dining , recreational activities and night life. I hope this location will be available for our return visit.

The owner bought this property because he wanted an Infinity Pool. And this property was the right one. . Breath taking ocean view and Wonderful sunsets.

What makes this property unique

when you walk in the house you can see the Infinity pool. Just having your meals out in the patio with the sound of the waves, filling you with relaxation it just feels right . When there is a storm you can expirience the lightning and thunder over the sea.
Black night with an amazing reflection of the moon on the pool. This place is paradise.
