The place are very spacious for four of us. The location is close to the public transportation so it is easy go around town.

Located within easy walk to trams and buses, good restaurants, and 3 grocery stores. Beds were comfortable, kitchen equipped enough for simple cooking. With windows closed, no sound from outside.

The apartment in Basel was fantastic! It was convenient to everything. Just a mile from the main Basel train station, which was then a very fast 15 minute tram ride to the apartment. Just blocks from park and river walk along the Rhine river. With restaurants, bars, and grocery stores just a short walk away.We really felt like we were living in Basel with the vibrant and friendly neighborhood, that made our first visit to Switzerland a memorable and lovely experience. The host sent our Basel cards which gave us free transit all over the city, though we didn't really need it because everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Having an elevator was a plus. And the onsite laundry facilities were very convenient. The open windows, shutters, and fans helped keep us cool during a heatwave. It was very relaxing to sit by the open windows with an espresso and watch the bustle of the neighborhood right below.I would definitely visit Basel again, and would stay in this apartment!

Great Stay

Good stay. Great WiFi for working. No problems with two of us connected. Comfortable space and everything we needed in the kitchen. Good location-groceries and cafes within walking distance. Would stay again if we are in the are.

This apartment is similar to the Russian, Cold War era, austere, apartments I have stayed in so i think "Modern" in the description is misleading. In the bathroom the only easily accessible towel rack on the wall at the rear of the bath tub is missing. Plan ahead on the toliet paper because there was only one small roll and no extra. I have no idea where the advertised washer and dryer are, there was no microwave, and no complimentary drinks, wine, etc.

Clean, good size apartment in a quiet neighbourhood with cute little balcony & nearby access to excellent public transport. Walking distance to a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is a tiny lift. The laundry is a communal/shared one on the ground floor. In the apartment there were no towel rails, bath mat, toaster or microwave. There is no AC but there are a couple of pedestal fans (& 1 broken one) which we needed in June. Bright, cheerful kitchen but all the knives were blunt & there was no chopping board. The light in the small bedroom didn’t work.
