Comfortable well maintained quiet property located just off River road that offers a short ride down to Carolina beach or offers an easy trip into Wilmington with having to use 421. The community the property is located in has numerous walking options both on the streets that are not busy with traffic or on numerous paved walking paths.

Lovely View

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. Everything I needed was available and there was a lovely view in the back. The neighborhood was great for dog walking with a nice nature trail close by.

We enjoyed our stay at this property for the most part. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen. It was spacious and good for our group. We did have an issue with the thermostat. It was a smart thermostat similar to what we have at home. The issue is that it kept adjusting itself. This was not a big deal during the day, but was an issue at night. We went to bed and I woke up in the middle of the night extremely hot. The temperature was set to 75. I turned it down and went back to bed. I woke up again with the temperature set to 72 and locked.I contacted the host who informed us that the thermostat was in a learning mode. They said they took it off and we were okay the rest of the trip. While I understand energy costs are high, i feel that if you rent a property you should be able to control this within reason.

Thank you for your feedback, Elizabeth. The thermostat learning was remote the same night per your request. However, setting up a thermostat at 60 in the middle of the night can damage the system. We will make updates to the listing regarding the temperature control so that guests are aware of the rules. Any special request will be addressed as needed.

This home is tucked away in beautiful beach neighborhood. The location was perfet as it is just a few minutes from the beach. We were happy that it looked exactly like the pictures, it was very clean and even provided the necessary items to take care of the home. They even have beach gear if you didnt bring your own! Communication with the host was very friendly and fast. We eneded up not bringing our dog with us, but the host was nice enough to provide food bowls. This home checked all of our boxes! 10/10!

We had a wonderful time staying here for our trip to Wilmington. The house was clean and just as advertised, a true gem! The host was communicative and friendly. We were minutes from the beach, restaurants and shops. Truly couldn’t ask for a better place to stay when in Wilmington. Thank you for adding to our families experience!

Excellent secluded spot close to the beach. We had a great time. The bay is beautiful to wake up to. Carry a bug spray in the summer.

We truly enjoyed our stay! We had similar issue with the thermostat as another reviewer did, but once we communicated it was sorted out. It did seem the renters would prefer to be in control of the thermostat, but they at least erased the memory of the 'learned patterns' of the smart thermostat when I requested to change it. Overall it was enjoyable and we would stay again.

This place was very nice! It was clean and I enjoyed the location. My original perception about this place just based on the pictures made it seem that was in a more remote location and set independently from any other housing, but it is part of a shared community. It was still very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
