The location is excellent with a great cove for paddling and swimming. The view from the upstairs windows were magnificent. It is an older home but quite cozy and roomy. Nice private dock. Great time at the lake!
Exactly as described, rustic cabin. Great location on the lake in a cove. This is the main reason we booked this place. Easy and quick responses from the manager. Very accommodating.
Thank you
Great Lake house. a spot for both boats.. A place for the young adult cousins to stay below while the older adults enjoy the upstairs living area. The young ones love hanging with us upstairs as well. Cory is an amazing host.
What a Beautiful view. Just like the owner said, it is the best on the lake. House was fun and funky, but fit our group of 9 perfectly with room to spare. The deck on the water was our favorite, as that is where we spent most of our time, and it was just a short walk from the cabin. Would recommend it to all!

Million dollar view
This property is very old, rustic, vintage, spacious and great for a large group. Needs reapirs, grouds need attention, has plenty of parking, has major ant problem. Property needs more outdoor lighting and security. The best thing is the location and the view. We were there on the fourth of July and got the see a fabulous fireworks show from the property.
Listing is very accurate. Nice new boat dock facility. Mini-split air conditioners kept the home comfortable. Two refrigerators for extra capacity. Excellent comms with manager. Plenty of parking available ( driveway curves around home). Quiet area at the very end of a dead end street. Competitive rates compared to neighboring homes, an all around good value. Easy Mapquest directions.
The house was a cabin style. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There was two kitchens, on down stairs and one upstairs. We didn’t have to leave the property to fish. They have a dock to fish from. It snowed the last two days of our trip. The heaters worked great and kept us warm. This property is great for two or more families. We had a great time.

"Rustic" Indeed -- Beware
Make no mistake, this place is "Rustic" indeed. It's one of the last remaining original structures in the area, circa mid-1930's. While it's quaint, it's also quite in need of at a min. a ton of TLC, if not a complete teardown and rebuild, like most every other property in the area has already had. Super small bedrooms, beds, little to no closet / storage space upstairs, small kitchen with no dishwasher, wavy floors, cattywampus staircase leading down to the downstairs (only accessible from the outside), lots of spiders all over, etc.If you are looking for a place that is a throwback to your parents old lake vacation home, this is your place. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback. As described, the cabin is indeed rustic and original — many guests find it charming and a nostalgic throwback. That said, I’d like to note that this property also sits on one of the best lots on Bass Lake, with incredible views, private dock steps away & room to park 8–10 vehicles or trailers, and a central location that’s hard to beat.
Your review also comes during springtime in the mountains, which does bring increased pollen, sap, and yes — spiders. It’s a seasonal reality for mountain properties, and we do our best to stay on top of it with regular cleanings and pest service.
We always appreciate honest feedback and do our best to make sure every stay is a great one. Thanks again for choosing our place.
