Quaco Cottages - The William Carson

Situated on the 200+ year property of the Shipbuilder’s Cottage & Summer Kitchen, this one-bedroom unit has a covered porch overlooking a spacious treed lawn, lily pond, gazebo and hammocks. With the Bay of Fundy within view, the highest tides in the world can be heard caressing the shoreline and, when foggy, the Quaco Head lighthouse fog horn echoes it’s warning to fishing boats in the bay. Cozy and comfortable, peaceful and quiet, it's a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the area.

Ideally situated, the cottage is located 5 km from the Village of St. Martins, the harbour, restaurants, cafe, art and gift shops, tourist information centre, museum and the Sea Caves. The Fundy Trail is 13 km from the cottage. Within walking distance of the cottage is The Quaco Head Lighthouse (1.3kms), and Brown's beach (1.9kms) - which is as quiet as it is scenic and a rock lover's dream. There is also a coastal trail that connects the two.

In consideration of the peace and serenity offered by its location, guests are asked to be considerate of the property owner and those in the other rental units by observing a quiet time from 10:00 pm-9:00 am.

The owner Nick and his fatherJoe, the property manager, reside on site and are happy to help if you have any questions regarding the property or about planning your adventures in the area. Although involved in continuing property maintenance, your privacy and an enjoyable vacation stay is our priority.

Dog must be house trained and not be left unattended.. Must be on leash when outside. Pick up poop and dispose with garbage.
The outdoor fire bowl is not be left unattended. Please be conscientious of sparks, use the spark cover. Extinguish fire with water when finished.

The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable and had all the ammenties we needed for a two night stay. A convenient few minutes out of the village of St. Martins. Highly recommend and Joe was wonderful to deal with.

Beautiful Spot

Beautiful quaint peaceful place. Close to everything in St. Martin’s. Cottage had everything we needed. Suggestion not a complaint,, roasting sticks for the fire pit. We will definitely be back!

This property was definitely what we needed to end our vacation in New Brunswick. It was so quiet and relaxing, the perfect spot to get away from the busy city of Halifax. Not very far from St. Martins Caves and the Fundy National Park, also close to Brown's Beach which is an amazing beach hidden away. The hosts were amazing and quick to respond to any issues during our stay. We will return in the future with no hesitation.

Joe welcomed us personally on site, and was an outstanding and accommodating host! Apples were ripe and he told us to help ourselves! So we did, and made him some applesauce as a token of our appreciation!The place itself was perfect, immaculate, and quiet, with ALL modern conveniences. Scenery in the region was beautiful!
