Property is 10 mins from KY lake & Land Between the Lakes state park. At LBL you can visit the trails, the bison & elk range, The home place, the nature center, Golden pond planetarium and observatory,Patty's 1880's settlement and the wranglers camp. A visit to The trails and civil war battlefields at Donelson Park is a must. There is hunting land available but it's not included with the vrbo rate.We have a fully enclosed deer stand on the property equipped with a gas heater and chairs. If you hunt with bow and arrow you can go hunt at a larger property about 10 mins away.

Excellent place to get away to relax. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Had a great time playing pool and arcade games. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend.

The best weekend getaway!

We had the best time at this property! Its so cozy and peaceful! We had the best visit with a sweet golden retriever, he had his tennis ball and was a pro at fetch! Will definitely be coming back!

Nice stay

Clean and comfortable. Lots of places to sleep. Close to the lake. Nice pond on site. We enjoyed the pool table and arcade game as well. Good communication with owner.

Getaway Hunting Trip

Our stay in this igloo was amazing! Host was very responsive and even came over to help us get the fire place started when the temperature dropped. Had the cutest puppy welcome us each time we get back to the house, his name was Charlie and the star of the show. Pool table in the shed was perfect for some evening fun. Can’t wait to be back.

Best hunting and creek stomping place around!!

First off, 15 min away from the Cumberland river and the Kentucky lake, can’t beat that. Plus like 10min to great swimming/ fishing holes in upper standingrock creek, lost creek and lick creek. That’s just the stuff near by! Not to mention the squirrels, turkey, and deer available to hunt during season! I got 2 turkey in the field behind the house! Part of standing rock creek runs three the back of the property too. Cool for rock hunting and catching crawdaddies, but not so much swimming. Unless you’re a kiddo I guess! 10 out of 10 would recommend. Solely for the nature at this place. But add on top your in a dang igloo!? That pretty awesome, so is the man cave out back with a full bathroom, bar and pool table. Oh yea and it has a stocked pond, so that’s nice too.
