The "Crab Shack" is a cute Key-West style Bungalow. It has a coastal style, decorated in shades of blue and coral with faux wood flooring and carpet. It's decorated with artwork by local artist, Victoria Lada which can be purchased as souvenirs! The home has it's own private screened porch and sits on 1.3 acres that it shares w/ 3 other VRBO homes. There's a community fire pit, plenty of land to entertain kids, walking distance to the Largo Rec center, parks, East Bay Golf Course, and only 15 mins from Indian Rocks Beach & Sand Key Beach!

Great for our Girls Trip

My best friend, daughter, and I had a great time at this cute home. It was a great location from the airport and to the beach. There was lots of space, the couch and beds were super comfy, and the front porch was great to hang out in. The location felt very safe as well. The only negative we found was that the shower didn’t get very hot. Overall, we super enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!

Cozy Base to Check Out Tampa

Hosts were very attentive. Property well taken care of. We were very comfortable and had a great time hanging out on the front patio. Definitely will come back when in the area!

Cozy beach home with an amazing owner.

Anne was very prompt with responding to our questions. We felt like we were at home when we stayed at the crab shack. The beach was about 15-20 mins away but it was one of the best vacations we have had. We will be booking again in the future!!

Cute and Cozy!

This bungalow was perfect for a last minute and unexpected trip. The screened front porch was great for morning coffee and evening reflections with friends. It had everything we needed! The decor (which some of the artwork was for sale) was an especially nice touch knowing it was done by a local artist. Anne, our host, was super and communicative throughout our reservation and stay. Would recommend highly and stay again!

A perfect place to stay with family!

LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay at The Crab Shack. You almost can't believe this property exists where it does. It's right in the heart of the Largo suburbs yet it feels like you're staying in a country cottage. Everything is just a short drive away. Grocery stores, restaurants, parks, beaches, airports and, most important of all to our family, MLB spring training ballparks! We stayed here with our 9 month old son and there was plenty of room for his pack n play in the back bedroom and plenty of floor space in the living room for him to commando crawl around. And once he was down for the night, we sat back and enjoyed dinners in the screened in porch. Anne, our host, was accessible and courteous from the get go. We'll definitely be returning in the future for more family time and spring training games!

Misleading

So the listing states there is a Waterpark onsite, which is not true. It is close by at the Highland Rec Center, and costs money with only 2-2 hr sessions. Also no hot tub at this house, hot tub is at one of the other houses porch that you can rent on the property. Grill was disgusting, no one has cleaned it, so we wouldn't use as it would take a long time to clean. Toaster oven didnt work (only way to toast anything) No plug for the bath tub, so only option was a shower not both as listed. Air conditioner couldnt keep up, front bedroom was never cool, but when the rest of the house couldnt get below 78 degrees at night, that room was still hotter. House was clean, check in was easy, house is quaint, but we had to leave early because we had already tried to sleep in the heat and couldnt handle it.

Twandra you must be confused! NOWHERE in the description, photos, or amenities does it say this house has an on-site waterpark nor a hot tub! We would never misrepresent our property to our guests which is why our reviews are 5 star before and after Twandra. The toaster oven does work as well as the AC system. The house was at 71 degrees when Twandra checked out saying it was too hot and that it was at 78. I took a photo of the thermostat because I couldn't believe the discrepancy and how chilly the house was! Completely false review here. I always message my guests the day after checkin to see if all is going well. Twandra never responded. We would have been happy to have the grill cleaned, explain the toaster oven, or address any issues. It's a shame we were not given any opportunity to communicate or address any misunderstandings.
