Welcome to Napaw Mountain Log Cabin! A pet and kid friendly, custom built log cabin tucked in 35 acres of hardwoods on a private, magical mountain top. Wrap around decks lend a lovely view while watching a beautiful sunset, sitting by the romantic stone fireplace, relaxing in the Hot Tub, (open 3-15 to 12-31), or roasting s’mores at the lighted back yard fire pit. Inside, lay in the loft’s comfy king sz log bed and take in a full window view of outdoor beauty. Cabin is only mins. from the best hiking, biking, shopping, fine dining in Upstate SC~Table Rock St. Pk.; Pretty Place; Jones Gap; Ceasars Head; Swamp Rabbit Trail; Downtown Greenville; Clemson University; Lake Keowee to name a few.
THE SPACE:
Ascend up the 900’, well maintained, concrete, gravel, and beautiful tree lined driveway to Napaw Log Cabin. *A SUV, AWD, or 4WD is required. The cabin is hidden among the giant hardwood trees on the top of a secluded, privately owned mountain. Napaw has its own on-site hiking trail down to the Saluda River for your water enjoyment; deer with their fawns are always close, and love being fed by our guests. You’ll feel like you’re in a magical world, away from it all. Nature at its best!
Just relax in rocking or lounge chairs. Get cozy by the outdoor fireplaces. Relax in the hammocks and listen to the night birds, watch the fire flies, moon, and stars.
Look at what else there is:

ON-SITE INTEREST:
We are offering a half mile
round trip, marked, hiking trail on Napaw Mountain. (Not open during hunting season, Oct 11-Jan 1)The trail head starts at the cabin by the picnic table.(walking sticks are provided there by the tree for you) Just follow the orange triangle markers down to the Middle Saluda River. There, you can fish for native trout or cool off in the river that borders 1500’ of our private land. Or you may just want to sit and enjoy the outdoors while watching the river flow. The kids love the fun creek to play in there too.
*note-during the hot, dry summer months, the river may be low. During the late fall, winter, and spring months, it will probably be high. Use your own judgement concerning getting in the river.
On your way to and from the river, you’ll pass the rustic treehouse. Feel free to stop, sit, rest, and watch the birds and wildlife.
This hiking trail is a skill set mix of easy, moderate to strenuous (a good work out for a little stretch hiking back up)
As with any trail hiking, always be aware of your surroundings. You are in the woods and in the wildlife’s habitat.
