Reservation Cancelled by host without notice

I reserved this property about a month before my arrival. When my group arrived at the apartment I was told they overbooked and could "work on" finding me alternative accommodations. I waited one hour and there were no alternative accommodations. This was last week and I am getting nowhere with a refund. I would NOT reccommend this host.

Good, clean place that suits the needs of a small group

Pros -Nice, clean, modern place with 1 king bed and 1 bunk bed (with a trundle underneath). It was a bit cozy for a group of adults, but we made it work. There were even nice touches like hotel-sized packaged soaps and travel kits in the bathrooms. -Good location! We were within a 30-minute walk or 15-minute rideshare of anywhere we wanted to go in the city. There's also a breakfast place, CVS, and Whole Foods right on the same block. -Responsive Host. Their instructions were clear and they were quick to respond to questions as they came up. Cons -The digital keypad to access the elevators and apartment can be very finicky and difficult to use. I understand this is not something the host has control of, but something to keep in mind if you stay here. -It's a bit small, but that's to be expected anyplace in a city like Boston. Keep in mind the listing says "3 Twin Bunk Beds" but it should clarify "1 Bunk Bed with 3 mattresses, including trundle." There is a futon couch but it would be more of a last option. While you could sleep 6, I would say this place comfortably sleeps 4 to 5, as long as someone's able to get into the bunk bed. Overall -Clean, modern place for a small group or family in a convenient location! Would stay here again.

The South End of Boston is amazing for its historic Victorian brownstones, diverse community, and vibrant arts scene. It offers excellent dining and nightlife, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of community. Its proximity to downtown and great public transportation add convenience. However, these amenities and charm come with a high cost of living, making it one of Boston's more expensive neighborhoods.

What makes this property unique

Personally, I dislike traveling due to my high living standards. Therefore, I prefer to move in for a few months and meticulously furnish the space to my satisfaction.
