Steve and Dolly were very easy to communicate with and gave us tips about restaurants and other things on the island. Their place is very tastefully decorated and very clean. Their property manager Ruth was equally as great to work with. We had a 36 foot sailboat that draws 5 feet and the dock was perfect for our situation.We definitely rent this lovely place again. Perfect location as well.!!!!! thank you again

The escape house was a great place to stay for our group of 4! Ruth, the property manager was a pleasure and helped us secure a golf cart the day we arrived. The property listing did mention the dock had “future” water and electric service which is the main reason we booked this place as we were arriving by boat. The host did not mention the electric is not available at the dock ahead of check in. He did confirm water is not available. He gave the recommendation to use the marina next door which worked out for us nicely. Overall our experience was great!

The host was very easy to get ahold of and when arriving by boat gave accurate instructions on how to find the home. Loved the location close to turtle, stingray and shark viewing, even a manatee on the canal. and the home is well kept with all you would need.

Bonefish getaway

Excellent location with private dock, easily communicated with ferry service for drop off! Ruth was there to meet us exactly upon arrival. Location is incredible, and the house is comfortable. Would stay again.

Great Place & Great Host!

The escape house was one of my favorite out of the various others I have visited on GTC. Location, location, location! Great dock, comfy beds, great furniture for a group of 5. 5 min to downtown, great overall experience with the Property Manager and owners!

We had an amazing time staying at the escape house. The house set up was perfect and a great location. It was fully equipped and the property manager met us at the dock and communication was easy and fast. The only issue was with the dock. It was advertised as having power and water (coming soon). I was able to confirm prior to the trip that water was not available at the dock but power was. When we arrived, the power wasn’t working either so we needed to make arrangements to keep the boat next door at Donny’s Marina for an additional fee. For that reason I took off one star on the review. Other than that I highly recommend this house.

Great spot!

We came across by boat and met the wives and kids. The owners were very responsive and very flexible with our travel days due to the weather and crossing. Ruth was very helpful and also very responsive. Everyone was just pleasant to work with. Always love GTC and can’t wait to go back.

Escape

Property was in a good location. Home didn’t have a generator or dishwasher. The dock didn’t have power or fresh water. The house was nice and Ruth was exceptional she took very good care of us when the power was out.

While it is true that we don't have a dishwasher or generator, and that we have no power at the dock, all of these are disclosed in our information. We have applied for a dock hookup but await authorities to approve it. A generator is planned for next rental season.
