The house was nice and clean. We could never get the tv in living room to connect with the internet. The ones in bedroom played. The driveway is a little hard to get out of but over all everything was good. The house was nice and clean.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our hosts were extremely responsive, the home was thoughtfully planned and stocked from cookware to spices, entertainment including games, a speaker and even binoculars. It was the perfect pre-holiday getaway and we’ll certainly return!

Anything and everything I can say about our stay is five-star and then some. Great home. Very comfortable. Very functional yet very tastefully decorated. Everything one could need is on hand. The views are breathtaking.

The house was very clean, warm annd cozy. It had a decorated, lit Christmas tree for us to enjoy:) The kitchen was well stocked for prepping our Thanksgiving meal. It was a safe, quiet area and we recommend this house.

Ski Weekend Stay

This house was the perfect place for our short weekend trip to go skiing. It is centrally located in Maggie Valley and the view from the balcony is stunning! The hosts were even willing to send out their maintenance man on Saturday to get the fireplace working so we could enjoy it after a long day of skiing. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Smoky Mountain Solace was the perfect home base after a long day of exploring the area. We had everything we needed and the inside was warm and cozy. We especially loved sitting on the porch in the morning and the evening. Parking for our large truck was a bit tricky but my husband mastered that quickly. We definitely recommend staying at SMS!

This is a great little house for two couples or small family. Just enough room to feel comfortable. They host has thought of just about everything that you could possibly need even the small things you don’t realize you need til you do. The home was very clean and comfortable. The views from the porch were amazing! And the sound of the fountain in the neighbors yard made it even more serene. We even saw a few Elks on a couple of the days.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We did experience a minor electrical issue that we mentioned to the owner, and they offered to send someone out, but we managed a work around. The toilet in the master bath ran constantly and made a whistling sound, but we drowned it out with white noise and kept the door closed at night. We were there for a short 3 nights, and didn’t want to fool with having someone come by while we were there. The home was very clean and neat, which we appreciated. The porch is huge and it was nice to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. The kitchen had what we needed to fix simple meals, that was a big plus. Nothing was lacking! The beds were comfortable. We were able to take our small dog with us and he was also able to enjoy sitting on the porch since it’s closed on both sides. We were close to many places, Lake Junaluska, Wayneville, plenty of places to eat in Maggie. Had the best weather while we were there. The cabin is very cute and cozy, and the owner seemed kind. Thanks for having us.
