Great location. Very clean and spacious house with lush backyard, great to have private driveway parking in back of house. The upstairs bathroom is a private serenity spa oasis. A special retreat to relax. A wonderful neighborhood to walk and enjoy the lush trees of Decatur. If you plan to cook and use the beautiful updated modern kitchen, bring your own supplies- great for take out or cooking a breakfast, not fully stocked kitchen for meal prep for a full meal. Great brand new appliances and lovely ambiance. Bedrooms spacious, great supply of linens for bath and kitchen. We look forward to future stays when in Atlanta.
The host was extremely helpful in providing details and suggestions. The location was ideal for accessing Decatur, Avondale, and in-town Atlanta. The house was cute, clean, and well stocked. I would stay here again!
This was such a cozy and comfortable house for our family weekend together for the holidays! It was clean, and in a great location and super close to downtown Decatur with all of the cute restaurants and pubs! The host was so easy to get in contact with and we can’t wait to book with her again! Highly recommend :)
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming 1920s bungalow within walking distance to downtown Decatur. The home has tons of character. The location is a big plus—close to local shops, restaurants and Emory University Hospital, which made getting around super convenient. One of our favorite features was the quiet nature path at the end of the cul-de-sac directly across the street. It was such a treat to take a relaxing walk there one sunny afternoon. As always, great communication from host and the home was fresh & clean upon arrival.
We stay here every time we are in Atlanta! The host always checks in during our stay to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. The house is always in tip-top shape - very clean and well stocked. The home has a cozy relaxing atmosphere. The neighborhood is cute and convenient to everything. We love strolling around nearby Agnes Scott College and exploring all the amazing restaurants in Decatur. A
The house has so much character and all modern conveniences. The host has thought of everything - tvs in all bedrooms, plenty of nice towels, handsoaps & shampoo, plenty of extra trash bags & paper towels, laundry supplies & kitchen utensils & pans. The kitchen appliances are top-notch & the whole house was spotless! The location was great - convenient to stores & restaurants.
The home was clean, well furnished, and of a size compatable with our group's needs. The host responded promply to questions about the property when needed.
Met my young adult son and daughter here for a quick Atlanta stay. Great place near Decatur. Lots of restaurants nearby. Not too far from the airport either. Would definitely stay again!

I had seen a review about bugs being in the home, and it was true. I have two small kids, and we kept seeing ants and roaches. The host said she would send someone out the next day, but she never did. We arrived that Friday for two nights, but we had to check out Saturday. We couldn't stay another night. I was debating about keeping the reservation at the beginning anyhow because I received a text message from the host the day before saying VRBO was about to cancel the reservation because I might be having a party. I thought that was strange, so I did reach out to VRBO, and they said they didn't say that and that the host shouldn't have said the things she said. We were coming from out of town; they didn't know anything about us. We were using the place to stay the nights we reserved in Atlanta for different places.

Response from VrboOwner on 2 June 2026
Hi Robert,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. When you informed us that you had seen a bug in the home, we took your concern seriously. While palmetto bugs can occasionally make their way indoors in Georgia despite routine professional pest control treatments, we understand that seeing one can be unsettling. Our intent was to arrange additional service, but unfortunately we were not able to coordinate a same day visit with pest control or before your immediate departure the next day.
I would also like to clarify the conversation regarding your reservation. Prior to your arrival, we received a communication from VRBO indicating that the reservation had been flagged for potential event-related concerns. We shared that information with you directly and contacted VRBO together to seek clarification. At no point was our intention to accuse you of wrongdoing, but rather to communicate information that had been provided to us and ensure transparency.
We take great pride in maintaining our properties and providing a positive experience for our guests. While we're disappointed that we were unable to resolve your concerns during your stay, we appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our guest experience.
We wish you and your family all the best.
We had a wonderful stay in Decatur, GA to celebrate Papa’s birthday. The house was perfect for my family and Ayala couldn’t have made it easier. Great town for a visit.
The house is older, but a lot of work has been put into it. The house is in a great neighborhood and convenient to lots of great restaurants and breweries. The host was great with communication making this a smooth trip.
Everything about our stay was good. House is attractive and well furnished; check in was smooth and trouble free. Everything worked great. Our only suggestions would be to add wine glasses and see if light in downstairs bath could be improved. All in all, a delightful experience!
We had a multi-generational family meet up here. The space worked well, with plenty of room for everyone.
The kids really liked the indoor hammock and the games.
