This property was perfect for my husband, my dog and I. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and the adorable castillo. Close to downtown and plenty of hiking for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Check in was very smooth, kitchen had everything you might need for a weekend (and then some!), great location (close to town of Julian), host was very responsive! A/C worked great on a hot weekend! Will definitely recommend to friends!

Kristen’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway away, it was 100 degrees so the pool was an amazing addition. Charming place, great details, fit our needs perfectly. Recommend!

What a magical spot. We loved our stay in Julian — the home was exquisite, and the location dreamy. The home felt like staying with a dear friend … no small detail was left out — the kitchen (and patio, and grill!) had everything a foodie could want for. The living room was filled with games and music and a wonderful TV with all the streaming apps. The pool and sauna and outdoor spaces were invigorating. We’re already dreaming of coming back —

Perfect little getaway home! The house is very cozy private and nicely decorated. Bed is comfortable, shower is very nice and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals as well as a great grill. The pool was very refreshing and the sauna was great too. We have been to Julian many times and wow, this home has it all. Robes, slippers spa type shampoo, conditioner. body wash. Dog friendly was a must for us. We feel fortunate to have found this little hidden treasure and would love to return!

El Castillo

This was our first vacation with our pets and the little castle was perfect. The backyard is completely gated and has animal proof cement with a green area for restroom. The tile flooring inside was warm and sturdy enough so we didn’t have to worry about the dogs scratching it. There were pet supplies like bowl, toy and treat left for us. All the human supplies were great too
