Beautiful space, very comfortable inside and out. Lake view was wonderful and canoeing was an added bonus to the trip. There are stairs outside and inside but not insurmountable. We would definitely rent again. Loved the location!
We had a great stay at this very cute and well appointed cabin. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood with our morning coffee, making fires ant night and the beds were very comfortable. Thanks for making our first visit to Highlands a success - we’ll be back!
Very well-appointed and so many extra details (coffee, tea, creamers, bath products). Wonderful linens and well-stocked wood for the fireplace. Would recommend for a couple or family
This home was beautiful, clean and cozy! It had everything we needed with a beautiful view of the lake. The owners were quick to respond to questions. Perfect choice for a quick girl's weekend!
The house was absolutely wonderful. Very tasteful decor and so clean. Many complimentary items like the coffee bar set this home apart. The check in and check out process was also seamless. We would definitely come back!
Great place. Very well appointed. Convenient to town and surrounding activities. We will definitely return in the future. The host was great to work with and was very flexible. Very highly recommended
Lovely home, great location! I loved the thoughtful touches like coffee, creamer, etc and my kids loved trying to catch fish at the dock. Highly recommend!
Stayed for a few nights with my family as a base camp for all sorts of activities. Home was very comfortable and well laid out. Canoeing in the lake was definitely a highlight. Would definitely stay here again
We had the absolute best time in Highlands- and staying here was just icing on the cake! They had gear for us to use outside and baby items that we didn’t want to pack up and take with us! Will definitely book another trip next summer!
What a wonderful house! It was sparkling clean with new, comfortable furniture, a great kitchen, deck and even canoes. We absolutely loved it. Thank you for a fantastic stay - we look forward to coming back!
This cabin is amazing. It is well decorated, clean, and had all we needed for an awesome long weekend. The cabin is well stocked and having access to the lake was an extra bonus. Communication with the owner was great.
The cabin was welcoming even before we opened the front door! Once inside, everything was spotless. The bedding was not only beautiful but also so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some! I love how there were books throughout the cabin (as a writer, that was a beautiful sight!) Although we didn't use the canoes, they would be so much fun for someone. The shower was perfect for my 6'5" husband! Thank you, Todd and Jijar, for making our visit so enjoyable.
This was a great experience! The hosts are wonderful and so thoughtfull. Details were taken care of and so helpful. Having a kid backpack carrier and fishing pole helped make the stay even better! I will be recommending this house for my friends and family in the future.
This was our 2nd time staying at this property. Todd is a great host and wants to make sure everything is taken care of for you. It's a great, peaceful, comfortable and quiet house. We brought paddleboards and enjoyed paddling out on the lake. Our favorite Highlands restaurant, On the Verandah, is a very short walk away. It's an easy, short drive to town and to several hiking locations. Definitely recommend.

Nice, clean property.
Very nice owner. However, there are a lot of steps to get into the house and upstairs. We are older, so that can be an issue for some. Photo of property looks like it’s on flat ground, but it’s not. I would indicate steps to the nice deck. Nice once inside.
Perfect mountain home. Truly can't beat the location. We were able to enjoy paddling on the lake multiple times a day, walking to our favorite Highlands restaurant (On the Verandah), and a very short drive into downtown to shop or also a short drive to numerous hikes and waterfalls. Comfortable, clean, and great owners that really care about you having a wonderful experience. 100% recommend.
Very clean. Many amenities. King bed on second floor. Stairs to get in the house are challenging. Careful of driveway. Not flat at the top. Overall, very enjoyable.
Great little house for couples or small families wanting to be near Highlands (just over a mile away). One bedroom and a loft set up as a bedroom upstairs, along with a tiny water closet with toilet and sink to save trips downstairs in the middle of the night. One more bedroom downstairs and a full bath with shower (no tub). Three zone mini split AC and multiple ceiling fans to keep cool, and a wood burning fireplace to stay warm. Well outfitted kitchen and comfy furniture and bedding throughout. Lots of board games, books and even a fishing rod provided. Large deck with grill out front, and a nice fire pit area on the side of the home. Across the quiet street is a dock with canoes on a small lake. Very picturesque setting amidst the tall trees. A very comfortable property with gracious and communicative hosts - 10/10!
