Overall, very nice place and I would highly recommend. The only downside if you call it that is the water pressure is very low in the dishwasher did not work correctly most of the time other than that great place to stay.

Thank you for the kind words and recommendation. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do wish we had been made aware of the dishwasher issue during your visit, as we would have gladly addressed it right away. While we regret the inconvenience, we hope a minor, fixable issue like this would not take away from what sounds like an otherwise great experience. We would love the opportunity to host you again and ensure everything is perfect next time.
This property was perfect for us. We were visiting to attend my Aunt’s 80th bday party. We felt very safe and at home here. A beautiful house and neighborhood!
Overall the stay was acceptable. Listing showed a pool table that was not there. Despite that we enjoyed our stay. The block was very peaceful and quiet.

Glad that you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime! Please note that the property description describes the mini 10-in-1 game table (foosball, hockey, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, etc) which is in the game room. You can adjust the configuration to use in pool table mode.
We were in town for our daughter's wedding. Love the spacious kitchen to finish preparing some of the desserts. Everyone loved the use of the pool table and the sound system! We weren't a fan of the door-sized Hannibal Lechter artwork. Very creepy. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean.
Awesome place ! We had some family visit us there and everyone loved the place too.
The toilet paper holder in the half bath needs to be reattached to the wall. Also … I noticed the drain pipe closest to the hot tub is separated at the top.
As a family with multiple people in a wedding at Vanderwende Acres, this house was in the prime spot. The house offered quick access for traveling to and from the wedding venue for multiple events in a weekend. The house had great amenities such as a separate pool table room which could not be heard in the bedrooms when trying to put our kids down. The bedrooms had ample space for family members to choose from and lawn offered space for the kids to run.
Overall house was great and plenty of space to stay for our group. There were little things that needed improvement. The back sliding door screen was ripped so we couldn't keep it open because too many flies were getting in the house. Firepit was broken so we did not use it. Side door was broken and fixed with lime green tape. Just some small things need the improvement but overall, it was a good stay, if these things were fixed definitely will stay again or if price was a little lower due to a few things.

Good afternoon! Sorry to hear that you did not get to use the fire pit. However, we just double checked and it is in perfect working order, as well as the side door. We hoped you could have reached out, and we would have been happy to stop by and assist with lighting the pit, and repair the screen! Feel free to reach out to hosts during your stay anytime in the future, we are here to ensure that you enjoy your time!
House is on a beautiful street with very little traffic. The Grandkids were able to ride their scooters up and down the street without fear of getting hurt. Also plenty of toys, games and puzzles to keep the kids busy. All of the T.V's were easy to setup and operate, although there wasn't a lot of time to watch TV. We spent the first full day at Rehoboth Beach. Second day was spent exploring the thrift shops and Antique Shops. We also took the kids to local Parks to play on the playgrounds and we went to an Ice Cream Shop for a family treat. When we weren't out exploring, we spent time in to pool or on the patio playing games. It was a relaxing stay and we had a great time. One reminder, the grill is charcoal. My daughter thought it was gas and I had to run out for charcoal, but Walmart is only 10 minutes away.
We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet, fun location to get away.
