Lovely comfortable pool home

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The home was comfortable with lovely decor and in a nice friendly neighborhood. During our month long stay we had a couple problems that came up and Jana was quick to respond. We rarely needed to use the AC because with all the screening there was usually a nice cross breeze through the house and if it got too warm we could always take a dip in the pool which was set at a comfortable temperature. Another plus was the reverse osmosis water system which saved us money on buying bottled water. I'd have to say that my biggest complaint was that there was only one TV. This was difficult for us because we like to watch different shows. Also, travelers to this area should be aware that there was a lot of damage by Hurricane Ian to the waterfront areas and nearby island of Matlacha which was very disappointing but we did find some nice restaurants and stores on nearby Pine Island road. Although a lot of neighbors were still doing repairs and clean up, this house was already repaired and in good shape when we arrived.

Property is just OK.

Overall the stay was fine. Jana was extremely prompt and answered any and all questions in a very timely manner. We appreciated her being available all week. Entering the house the first thing your met with is a musty stale odor. We asked but we were told the house always smells like that. Not the most pleasant smell- musty mildewy smell??? The beds could really use an update....the master bed was rock hard and the twin beds don't really have a true mattress but some kind of pad thing. Not comfortable at all. The queen room was most comfortable. The whole house could probably use a good deep clean and some updating of beds as well as furniture inside and outside. Office chair is really worn with rubbed off covering, but we didn't use much anyway. Would be nice to have a lounge chair by the pool. We made it through the week just fine-but a few changes would have made it great!

Holiday Stay

We checked in the day after Christmas and stayed through New Year’s. The property was as pictured and was plenty of room for our group of 3 adults and 2 children. The pool was heated to a comfortable temperature and was enjoyed daily by the grandkids. I chose this property because it is close to family who live in the area. It is not real close to the beaches if that is what you are looking for. I would definitely stay again.
