We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the house was so festive and clean, amenities were wonderful and the host was very friendly and really cared about our stay and making sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home to any one staying in the area.
We loved the house. Has a classic feel with lots of art. Also a very well stocked kitchen. We especially loved that it was decorated for Xmas. The outdoor patios could accommodate a good crowd. Host was very accommodating. Short walk to shops. We'll look for this one first next time we visit.
Check in was easy and we were even offered a later check out time which was very kind. We found the beds all very comfortable and the outside deck levels felt like we were sitting in a treehouse. We especially enjoyed the deer family that lounged by the deck with no fear. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that the listing included air conditioning, which was the main reason we chose the house. Air conditioning is rare at the coast. The house did not have it. Also, the nude decor throughout the house was off putting to us.
It’s a fun, spacious and clean house. Location is great and everything in the house was just wonderful. Our communication with her owner was prompt and very helpful.
A nice property, beautiful house, and great communication from owner!

Next time I will remember the Reds :) Cabs, Petite Syrahs or...some Gins!!!
You have a healthy, happy and wonderful, rest of the year 2018. Hope to see you guys soon!!!
Our Best wishes!!
Ms. Malika's kindness is extraordinary. She has been consistently available, welcoming and informative. I cannot imagine how she is able to organize herself to be as available and quickly responsive to her many visitors. Her huge heart and personalization to make your stay special cannot be stated sufficiently. She was amazingly patient, soothing, and practical, with me when I had difficulties with the vrbo system. Our family knows we were very Blessed to have Malika as our host in her lovely home.
Staying at the Victorian Castle is always a pleasure. The decks are peaceful and have great forest views and occasional visits from local turkey and deer. The house itself is well appointed and cozy, and it’s a perfect location to walk into West Village. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Cambria!
The house was beautiful, impeccably clean and had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It was filled with little private nooks and spaces for groups to gather. Bally the host was very quick to respond and pleasant. Would love to stay here again!

Thank you Kim.
I am so happy that you and your friends had good times.
Hope you all enjoyed the sparkling bubbles 😊
We had a lovely stay. The house and furnishings are beautiful. Nothing was lacking. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the garden with the blue jays. Moonstone Beach is very close and worth it to watch the sunset.
Casa Victorian is a a very unique house in a cool location. Bally is an excellent host, and the home is well-appointed. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, which was a really nice touch. It's so nice to be able to take a short walk into town or to Moonstone Beach. We really enjoyed our stay!
My family and I were at Bally’s property for 5 days. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and it felt like a home away from home. The house was set-up with festive spirit and was so close to all the beautiful beaches and we enjoyed spending our mornings and afternoons there whilst being cozy within the property at night time. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will be coming back for sure in Spring/Summer to enjoy what is on offer within this beach town!

Looking forward to see you all back. Have a safe and happy holidays and blessed new year!!
We enjoyed our stay at Cambria Victorian Castle. Check in was easy and smooth. The entire house was sparklingly clean. It's beautifully decorated, we loved every piece of art work inside the house and in the yard. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were perfect for us, a party of six. Everyone had a great rest. The outdoor space was huge and comfortable for lounging. We also loved the location of the house, in a walking distance to many nice restaurants on Main Street, and a short drive to Hearst Castle. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience in Cambria. We would recommend it to family and friends.
Absolutely love everything about our stay! From the location (walking distance to everything youd ever want (including a farmers market); to wonderful house to stay in! It was super clean (I’m a clean freak). It was homey. The owner was super communicative and welcoming. Needless to say we are already planning when we are coming back!

Liked: Check-in, location
I wish that the listing stated that the owner was living on site and would be micro managing our stay. Complaining about my grandchildren playing outside. The washer did not work. The worst thing is that the stairs to Seating area is up some stairs and the lights didn't work. My wife fell and twisted her ankle. We mentioned to the owner that she should fix or get a new light. Her first words were you are staying at your own risk. Beware that you're stay will be micro managed.

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to provide a 5-star experience, as evidenced by the hundreds of 10/10 reviews previous guests have left. You even mentioned enjoying the festive decor and welcome wine, which we provide to all of our valued guests.
We were surprised by this rating, as it stands in stark contrast to our positive communications during your visit. To ensure a comfortable holiday stay for your group, we chose not to enforce our maximum occupancy or additional guest fees when 16 guests arrived for a reservation that was originally booked for 8 guests.
Unfortunately, the property also sustained significant damage during this stay, and the washing machine and kitchen faucet tap required immediate replacement following your stay due to improper use (foreign objects found in these appliances) and to ensure that future guests were not impacted by these issues. We also noted damage to a unique vintage holiday item, and to ensure transparency, all of these communications have been documented via text and photos.
We take property feedback, maintenance and guest satisfaction seriously, and we regret that despite our best effort to ensure a positive stay at our property, it resulted in a below average review. We wish you the best in your future travels.

This property is one of the best we have stayed at in over 20 years of using VRBO virtually every summer. The house itself is very comfortable, well appointed and full of a wide range of art and books. We really enjoyed the privacy that this property affords, as you the lot size is large and you have no immediate neighbors. Maximum advantage has been taken of the lot with extensive and lovely tree-shaded outdoor decks. This is a primo rental and good value.
