Spacious cabin with a beautiful mountain view!

Located within several acres of secluded forest, Grassy Mountain View cabin is ideal for the nature lover, ready to explore the North Georgia Mountains, and the cabin dweller, eager to withdraw from everyday life. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6-7 guests, with several entertainment and recreation areas, such as a fire pit, recreation room, and comfortable living area around one of two gas fireplaces. The cabin has high-speed internet and several TVs, but most engaging are the breathtaking views of the mountains that surround the cabin. From the comfort of the indoors or on the patio, you have panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a perfect view of both Grassy Mountain and Bald Knob. The hiking, mountain biking, and exploring options are endless nearby in the  Chattahoochee National forest or Fort Mountain State Park. The cabin even has a few small trails within our own development. After a long day on the trails, guests are welcome to dip into the spa hot tub or schedule an in-cabin massage.

My husband and I wanted to escape for a few days. WiFi reception was great. My husband still had business to do the first few days. Beautiful view of the mountains. Gorgeous sunrises. The air was cool in the evening. We did get rain also and the sounds in the woods were the best. It was nice to have nature all around us. The house had everything we needed. We left happy and relaxed.

Beautiful Views

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in town to work on some property we bought in Chatsworth, so it was nice to come back to the cabin after hard days work. The location is great and the views were fabulous

Fall trip N Georgia mountains

First off the views were absolutely amazing. The leaves had changed colors and just begun to fall! You could see why they are called the smoky mountains(breathtaking at sunrise and sunset)the way the fog lifted looks like a reverse waterfall. The cabin was really cool too. We seen a black bear from the hot tub on the last night.

Weekend getaway with grown kids.

The views are spectacular! The location is great. The owner was easy to reach and very responsive. However, the house was certainly not what I would call clean and it’s incredibly disappointing to see how little care other renters have been while utilizing the vacation home. There were holes in the wall, the blinds and the master bedroom were destroyed and unusable, so the window had to stay open the whole time and the pool table was seriously damaged. Overall, the house just had a lot of wear and tear. The master shower had mold all in the shower. Every window in the house was filthy. The stove has seen much better days. There were cobwebs on the lighting and the towel that was displayed in the master bathroom was dingy. We rent cabins every year around this time of the year and while this house had probably the best views we have ever had, it was by far our least favorite. Super disappointed.

Great View....but everything else not so much

When we first arrived, the keypad on the main door did not function, and would not take the provided code. We needed to contact the property manager, but unfortunately they didn't provide the WIFI password in the welcome email and there is no cell signal, so we had to drive back out of the neighborhood until we barely got a bar or signal . After too much time trying to explain the code and keypad was not functional, the property manager gave us the code to the back door. Which did work.After unpacking and enjoying the view, we turned down the bed and found the sheets were dirty, stained and obviously used. We had to find a set from another bed that seemed better for that night. We also found the towels to be very stained, and we could not say for 100% if they were clean. The next day we sent a message to the manager stating the issue, but all we got in response was, "Very sorry it was like this let me know if we can do anything about it". Later that day, being July 4th we planned to use the grill provided. When we went to use the grill we found the knobs were defective and no gas was flowing. Again, when we contacted the manager he didn't even know the grill was connected to the main house supply and wanted us to check to see if there was another tank.At this point, with these issues, we just tried to make the best of the situation and enjoy the view from the back deck. We communicated to the manager our displeasure and requested a refund, which they complied

Ocoee 50th birthday trip

Stayed with 22 yr old son, 50 yr old husband, and another adult couple in their 40's/50's. We were celebrating my husband's birthday with a Ocoee rafting trip. House was the perfect layout for our group. Kitchen was well-stocked. Hot tub was fabulous. Deck was lovely. Had perfect amount of paper & cleaning products for our quick stay. Momma bear & 3 cubs walked past deck while we were out on first evening! So amazing! Gorgeous views! There was damage to several walls and window blinds when we arrived. Items in basement didn't work or were broken. Mattresses & bathrooms were not clean. Pillows were all flat and there was only enough for 1 per person. New pillows, extra bed pillows and pillowcases are needed. Communication before staying was terrible. I asked multiple times if there was a corn hole game at house and host never responded. I finally called the day before our arrival & he promised to have one there for us. No corn hole game was there or arrived during our stay. If we had known, we would have brought our own. Overall, the stay was peaceful & we enjoyed ourselves. We were only there in the evenings and overnight since we were out ALL day Sat. I don't know if we would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin and thought it was terrific. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars is because it was advertised as 4 bedrooms but it’s actually only 3 bedrooms. We still loved it but did not love the false advertising.
