Aspen Creek #114 | Family Friendly Condo close to Shopping & Outdoor Activities

Aspen Creek is a great location for a mountain getaway. Snowboarders and skiers will love the short walk to Eagle Lodge and the Eagle Express chairlift. Summer adventurers have a variety of activity options too. Restaurants or shopping in Mammoth Village, the Snowcreek Golf Course, and numerous hiking or biking paths are just a quick car ride away.

The kitchen has all the appliances any chef could need to prepare meals. A formal dining table is steps from the kitchen. A mudroom perfect for storing your ski and snowboard equipment is located near the front of the home.

Couches and chairs circle the 56" Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+) with regular cable. Turn on the fireplace (wood provided) and get cozy while watching a movie with the family. You will feel right at home with wireless internet. The couch also functions as a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping space. Open the sliding glass doors to catch a breath of crisp air and take in the partial mountain view. A rug and 2 chairs are provided here.

The kitchen has all the appliances any chef could need to prepare meals. It includes: full set of Cuisinart knives, double toaster, blender, crock pot, Lodge cast iron dutch oven, non-stick pans, cheese grater, pyrex baking dishes, Cuisinart coffee maker, large cutting board, and more!

The master bedroom has a comfortable California King bed and a desk for any remote work needs. There is an attached private bathroom and vanity area. The large second bedroom is great for the kids. This room is furnished with 2 Twin over Full bunk beds with brand new mattresses (March 2021). There is also an attached private bathroom and vanity area. This room is so large that it also has 2 comfortable swivel chairs for a nice hang out spot!

Underground parking is available for 1 car (garage height 7'1"). Laundry facilities and elevators are in each building. The shared condo BBQ stations, picnic areas, and a swimming pool only open during the summer. The 3 hot tubs are open year round. Some of the condo amenities like the hot tub will not be available due to COVID.

**We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at your own risk. Without the purchase of Travel Insurance, your Vacation Home Rental Reservation cannot be canceled due to poor weather conditions.**

Nice stay very close to ski access

Great location walking distance (5 min) to Eagle Lodge. Parking was easy with underground lot tall enough to fit Thule on top of SUV. Our room had all the amenities with the exception of a hair dryer :(. Rooms have some wear and tear but overall clean. Would stay again.

Easily solved issues.

On the minus side: * The arrival instructions emailed to me had the wrong wifi info. Thankfully at some point I looked at the actual router and noticed that the info on the sticker was different, and that worked. * If the advertised amenities list includes a fireplace, there should be firewood. After getting comfy, I went to start a fire, only to look on the deck and see an empty rack. So I got dressed again and drove to the Grand Welcome office, where I was told that I would need to go buy my own at the supermarket. $49.40 that I should not have had to spend. *The heater in the master bathroom does not work. On the plus side: * Location is good. I stayed in another Aspen Creek building a month ago, and this one is conveniently close to the exit to the street if you are walking to Eagle. *Very spacious *The fireplace is open on 2 sides, so assuming you have wood to burn, it is nice.

Convenient Location, clean

I stayed here with my 3 teenagers and one of their friends. Overall, nice place walking distance to Eagle Lodge. Condo was clean. Furniture is old and kind of dated but did the job. Check in is a bit of a pain because you have to stop at the rental agency in town to pick up the keys before going to the condo. Covered parking was a huge plus with all the snow. The kitchen and bathrooms are both dated, but everything worked. Bring your own ground coffee for the first morning as there is none provided, though that is something usually provided in the other VRBO rentals I have stayed in. Overall, decent, clean, and convenient location

Great Family Condo Close to Lift!

Great location, less than 5 minute walk to Eagle Lodge/Lift. Property was well maintained and clean. Did find some dishes and utensils not really clean but not uncommon in vacation rental and we wash everything before using regardless so not a big negative. Need to pick up keys in town which is a minor hassle. Majority of other units in building had lock box which would be more convenient. Instructions received from management company (Grand Welcome) had 2 different addresses for unit located in different buildings with directions to park in wrong building so read these closely and call to clarify if any questions. If you have a high roof vehicle (over 7'4") you will not be able to fit in the garage and there are only a handful of non-garage spots available on the property. Overall a good experience we rate a 4+ and we would definitely stay again.
