This house, location, and host were all fantastic! Great place to park your boat and trailer with outlets at the dock. The house was pristine and had everything you may need. Additionally, the host was incredible with contacting and insightful with any questions we had. We would definitely come back!

We visited the area for our kids to race dirt bikes at the Muddy Creek Raceway. Deer Lick Cabin exceeded our expectations in many ways. The cabin was immaculate and spotless. The housekeepers definitely get 10 stars. They welcomed us with refreshments which was nice. The owner called the second day to make sure everything was going well with our stay. The view of the lake was beautiful and calm. We plan to rent this cabin again next year. Thank you for the excellent hospitality.

I HIGHLY recommend Deer Lick cabin. I would rate this one of the nicest places we have stayed. The cabin was VERY clean, great view, there are more amenities than one would use, good location and it's decorated sooo cute. The host was great. When I had questions, he responded right away. We plan on visiting TN again, will definitely choose this cabin to stay at.

We booked the cabin for our Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! The drive to the cabin was gorgeous. The property was amzaing with an excellent view and access to Boone Lake. The cabin had everything we needed; cookware, towels, extra pillows and blankets (even snacks and games). We look forward to our next stay at Deer Lick Cabin!

3 night stay

I stayed at the cabin with my husband and 2 teenager boys. We love this cabin! It is secluded and in a quiet area. Very clean and super friendly host. Great communication and availability throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Cabin on Boone Lake!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and the owner was very kind and quick to respond. We loved the location with direct access to the lake, and only a short drive to ETSU . It was quiet and private, situated at the end of an inlet on Boone Lake. We loved our stay, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

The cabin was impeccable. It was very clean and very well stocked. The furniture was comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I will definitely return whenever I am in this area again.

Bill was the best we needed help launching the boat . He meet us at the boat ramp drove the boat to the house . House was very clean quiet location in a cove. Home very well stocked and just steps from the dock . If we needed anything Bill was just a text away.

Last Minute Getaway

One of our favorite stays in awhile! This cabin is pristine, peaceful and fully stocked and even with things I hadn’t thought of needing! The owner was so responsive to questions and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. We had one long evening of rain but didn’t even care, grab a drink and sit on the balcony and rock away while you listen to the rain on a metal roof. Fishing off the docks and swimming in a private cove was lovely and so much fun! We will definitely stay again soon, totally relaxing break we needed in such a beautiful place. Thank you Bill!

Relaxing, clean, and comfortable. The cabin was a perfect and peaceful retreat while in town for a baseball tournament/mini family vacation. Everything you need indoor with beautiful landscaping and multiple lake view balconies, decks, and docks. The cabin provided a great location to split time between Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the lake or fire pit due to weather conditions and schedules, but plan to make a return visit in the future! Bill was a fantastic host with great communication before, during, and after the visit!

This property was very well maintained and stocked as a curiosity. We loved the access to lake and fire pit and cleanliness of the cabin. Definitely our favorite cabin so far and will be back again soon!

Clean and peaceful cabin. Loved sitting on the front deck having morning coffee and looking at Boone Lake. Very central located to stores and restaurants. We came down for the Thunder Valley drag races and it was only about 20 minutes away. We met some of the neighbors and they were very friendly. Our host was very nice and helpful. We plan on booking again next year if available. Thanks again to the host.
