My summer getaway

I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage. Totally enjoyed my tine at the beach! It was only a 2 minute walk to it. Loved that! I Would recommend it to anyone looking to vacation at the Cape.

Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect location to experience Dennis - multiple beaches and a beach bar/restaurant at the end of the street, and other great spots within a mile or so. The house itself was exactly as advertised - small but comfortable and clean. The spacious yard, back deck and outdoor shower were enjoyable. The only negative was not having air conditioning. I stayed in mid-late July and on nights when it didn’t cool down outside the house was very humid and sticky.

The house is cozy and a great beach theme. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the showers is great. Very close to Glendon Beach. The appliances and bathroom are a little outdated. No air conditioning, but who cares, you're not supposed to be indoors at a beach vacation! Now the bad. When we arrived, there was garbage around the garbage bins. (Dirty Diapers and plastic bottles). The patio umbrella was broken and the BBQ grill hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. We picked up the garbage and cleaned the grill. I blame it on the previous renters and the cleaning services. Robert Paul Properties compensated us with 2 extra hours of relaxation on our departure day. Overall I would rent this property again.

The cottage is always exceptionally neat and conveniently close to a private beach. It is well appointed except for small omissions like place mats and dish towels which we supply ourselves. The lockbox is a struggle; ask for keys at the office.

We were pleasantly surprised upon checking in that the pictures online do not do this place justice, it is a hidden gem filled with cape charm. When our normal cape vacation plans were changed this year, we lucked out in finding this rental. While we we basically looking for a clean, safe, private place that was walkable to the beach - we ended up in a well taken care of house in the perfect location. While not a luxury rental, it really has everything you need to enjoy your week. The bedrooms are small, but the beds were comfortable with the mattress toppers that were provided. Plenty of storage to tuck away everything we brought and the decent sized deck and nice sized yard allowed us to expand our living area to outside. There is a great updated outdoor shower, which makes up for the fact that the bathroom is a little small. The kitchen is also on the smaller side, but Has everything you need for vacation cooking. The location can’t be beat, just a short walk to a private beach, walkable to the sailing cow cafe, and just a short drive to many other great restaurants. Thank you so much for sharing your cape house with us, we enjoyed it so much!
