Arriving at this stylish, contemporary villa, one immediately feels at home. Nestled into the Lagoon Villas complex in the gated Amelia Island Plantation, this updated one-level property is quiet and peaceful, and yet full of life, with splashes of color throughout and some fun, unique touches. 1216 Lagoon Villas is nestled amongst the canopy of the resort's mature oaks, with hanging moss, tropical flora, and green space views from the living area, sunroom, and main bedroom suite.

This beach-side 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Lagoon Villa property boasts an open floor plan and provides a wonderful location to relax after a day at the beach or playing a round of golf nearby! As featured in the pictures, the villa's kitchen is completely renovated and has stainless steel appliances, glass backsplash, quartz countertops and built-in storage. It is fully equipped with everything guests need for preparing meals! When it's time to sit and dine, the new rectangular table can seat six, and there are four bar stools for eating at the kitchen island. Enjoy the convenient enclosed courtyard out front, which provides a gas grill and additional storage.

The sleeping accommodations include a main suite with a king bed, private bath, and additional living space, which has a desk for remote work and a sofa. The second bedroom has a bunk with full beds and a queen bed as well, with access to a customized guest bath.

The entire property has high-speed Wifi and both bedrooms have smart TVs. The main bedroom suite also enjoys its own entrance to the sunroom, overlooking the green space and a wooded area.

Beach access is less than a quarter-mile away within the resort (easy 8-minutes walk) and it is easily accessible via the picturesque walking/biking trails. For those attending conferences or events at the main Omni Amelia Island Resort hotel, the Lagoon Villas complex is conveniently located across the street from a side entrance.

For guests convenience, there's a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, hairdryers in each bathroom, and beach towels. All bed and bath linens are provided.

Just inside the gates of the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP), Lagoon Villas is one of the complexes that enjoys the closest proximity to the dining, shopping, and spa services offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP.

Altogether, the AIP community is a sprawling 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Rent bikes or a golf cart through a local vendor to explore. Golf is also available at many nice courses in the area, with Little Sandy and Oak Marsh right there within the AIP.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guestbook is provided with thorough property information and a local area guide sharing our favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

*Please be advised the owner of this property does have a Ring doorbell camera, but it's not currently active.

**Please note that small dog/s may be considered but any dog must be approved by management. The size restrictions in place are no more than one dog will be allowed for a maximum weight of 50 lbs. Guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. No cats or other pets will be considered.

***Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities.” This means there is restricted access to the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center, and shuttle service, and that Racquet Park only offers free play to club members and their guests. Good stay on Amelia !

At first we thought there wouldn’t be much of an area to walk our 2 Boston Terriers around the Lagoon Villa area, but we quickly found there are many walking paths around the plantation and we were thrilled to find a path to the ocean that was only about a 10 minute walk & this area of the beach was never very crowded. The villa itself is very nice - just as pictured. A very well equipped kitchen, great Sony large TV in the main area, nice sitting room at the back on the villa, and a huge master bedroom. We hope to return there again & highly recommend this villa and Destination Amelia.

I brought my husband down for his birthday & surprised him with our good friends meeting us. This house was perfect for us with 2 couples or it would be great for a family or even a Girls Trip. The design of the house was just gorgeous & so relaxing/inviting. I would use their designer!! ;) The pictures listed are good but I honestly think once you get there it's even better!! The location was great, not right on the beach but less than a 4 min easy paved walk. The condo also provides everything we needed for the beach a tent, an umbrella, beach chairs, a beach cart, beach towels and more which was such a plus. We brought our own but it stayed in the car because their's were so nice. You easily could leave it at home except for beach toys for the kids. We rented a golf cart from the resort shop which was great because we used it to access everything on the huge resort. Dinners, breakfast, mini golf, beach etc. The condo doesn't provide you access to all the amenities of the resort but we still never had to leave the resort except once for the grocery store. The owners are also so responsive & accomadating. You can tell they take pride in their rental & also insuring you as the quest are taken care of before, during & after!! We would definitely stay at this condo on our next visit to Amelia Island or recommend it to friends!!

Perfect Getaway during the Amelia Island Car Auctions

My husband and I stayed at Lagoon Villas during this year’s Amelia Island car auction weekend. The villa was a perfect escape from the crowds at the Ritz. The location of the villa is within the Omni Plantation property which is a gated property, so safety was not a concern at all. It is within walking distance to the Omni hotel, which was great, as we walked to dinner one night and drinks at the bar both nights. The other night, we ate at another restaurant on the property which was just ok. We had originally planned to eat in historic Fernandina Beach, but after driving to town during the day, we realized it was just way too far to have dinner and a few cocktails, so we changed our reservation to a restaurant within the property. There are very few restaurant options near the Omni Plantation, so cooking in might be a better idea that going out. There is a great grocery store a quick car ride away. The villa itself was great for our weekend. It was eclectically decorated with a lot of color and vintage pieces. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked. The living area was cozy and comfortable, and since we were too far from any nightlife, we found ourselves staying in and watching movies each night. The master bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. The master had its own bathroom which was clean but quite small. We did not use the second bedroom, but it had 2 queen (or full) sized beds and was connected to a second full bathroom with a tub. The weekend was chilly, so we did not walk to the beach or spend any time outside on the back patio. Parking for one car was right outside the front door. We did not have any reason to reach out to Destination Amelia, but the whole process was smooth and response time was almost immediate. Overall, I would recommend this villa as long as you have a car and understand that restaurants and nightlife are not within walking distance.

Perfect Amelia Island stay

ThIs property is immaculately clean, well furnished, and has a lot of space. 8 minute walk or 2-3 minute bike ride to the beach. Would be very likely to rent this unit again when we return to Amelia Island Plantation in years to come.

Biggest issue was the house was overrun with insects. Fire ants, spiders, a few roaches. Had to call for pest control to come out but they need to do a better job with this. We cut our stay short by a day.

Cornbread made my day every day! This little villa is absolutely adorable! It’s well stocked and adorably appointed. The only thing we wanted...was a few more days on Amelia! Having owned and rented here on Amelia for 5 years, I can honestly say GREAT job to the owners of villa and staff at Amelia Destination! Wonderful villa! Even better than the pics online. The walkway to the beach was beautiful..... boardwalks and paved paths through tropical greenery. Great beach and very few people since it was late August. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Condo was clean and relatively well cared for. Comphy furniture, well stocked kitchen. Two issues, we assumed the park behind the unit would be a good place to walk the dogs, but they didn't want to go out there because of the ants. The back yard was unusable for the same reason. We also ran across a number of roaches inside. The place would be super if those issues were addressed. Great location, lots of walking paths, but limited beach access. When you got to the beach, however, you had it to yourself

The property was amazing, the pictures on line do not do justice for how it actually looks and how you feel when you walk in. The property had everything you need. The beach cart was there just like the other reviews had mentioned. Our family loved the property and the plantation, there was tons of things to do with our 5 year old. Tons of walking trails, golf carts, put-put, finding shark teeth was one of our favorites lol. But there is also a lot to see outside the plantation, don’t be scared and miss out on all the history Amelia island has to offer, the downtown stops in the historic area are great, the old light house, and of course fort clinch.

We were very pleased with the Lagoon Villa. It was a short walk to the beach with everything we needed to make our weekend easy and relaxing. Nicest Vacation Home We've Rented

This home felt like it was our own. One of the smartest floor plans, beautifully decorated to our own taste, well maintained, and all without stairs! There was nothing that we needed that wasn't on the property. The beach was fantastic and just a short walk down a paved, shaded path - we walked every morning. We had a wonderful time and would return to this property next time we visit Amelia Island.
