Beautiful Home
The road to the home is very curvy which we are accustomed to because of where we live however there really isn’t room for 2 vehicles. We pulled up to the home and immediately noticed a swarm of flying insects. It’s understandable that they are there since it is very close to water. The home itself is amazing with the softest beds ever. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the home and we all left with ideas for our own home. Communication was great and the extra items for us to use was very thoughtful. We tried sitting out back because the lights set up is gorgeous but we were constantly fighting off June bugs. I would definitely stay again but maybe a different time of year.

Very quiet, secluded area. The beds were very comfortable and came with everything you could possibly think of. I will be back to visit again.

About the host

Host profile image
By profession, I am a real estate agent with over 22 years of serving my clients. Being a realtor has led me to VRBO property ownership, because I see the need for it, and I enjoy being a small part of someone's trip. I also know as a realtor, that location, location, location is the best thing to have in real estate, and this home has it! I absolutely love being a host and sharing my home with travelers from around the world. We have had people from 7 different countries so far stay with us. I love to read their reviews both on the website and in our guest book. We rarely meet those who are using our home, as we want to give them privacy, but we enjoy the conversations and hearing about the memories they made.

Why they chose this property

I love the lake and all things water! Fishing, boating, water sports, you name it, my family and I love doing it on the water. We also know so many people around this lake who are always treated like family. I love waking up to the sunrise and a few deer in my yard in the morning as well as the amazing sunsets this lake has to offer!
If you are a fisherman, this is a great fishing lake. You can catch a 10+ pound bass or your limit of crappie.
If you are a boater and like water sports the landing is at the entrance to the neighborhood, and it's an easy lake to navigate. Big enough to do all sports, and small enough you won't get lost. Nice and deep lake as it used to be a rock quarry.

What makes this property unique

As an experienced vacation rental host and traveler, we know what people will want when they are away from home. We treat our rentals just like we would our own home, and set them up as if we were going to stay and use them. So, all the amenities of life away from home are right at your fingertips. We usually provide snacks, assorted coffee, water, and everything you would possibly need in the kitchen. There is a grill if you want to try your hand on the propane grill. Most of all just enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.
