Beautiful home with lots of character

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The game room was a hit with the kids. The blackberries in the yard were a real treat. Lots of space to spread out. Great location. Highly recommend this home.

Was a great home for our gathering of 9 adults and 3 kids. Nice outdoor area: comfortable seating, fire pit, jungle gym and tree swing for kids. Plenty of dish ware, glassware, cookware, utensils, etc. Cute little arcade room in basement, grandsons loved the skeet-ball! Completely fenced in yard, nice and safe for when kids outside playing. Host kept in touch with us, offering help if needed ( which was not, as everything was GREAT!)

Great Location, Lots of Space

We enjoyed our stay in Omaha. The house was in a great location, had lots of space. the bedrooms were very large, very comfortable furniture. We like the multiple gathering rooms. All good. The check in and check out were seamless. Lots of communication from the host.

Overall a great place to stay. Close to zoo and other attractions. House served us well but would suggest more kitchen towels and there were no dish cloths. When you have that many people we did a lot of dishes and wiping of tables and counters. Two towels and a sponge was not nearly enough.

Communication was excellent. The house was spacious and most of the bedrooms were large. The kids bedroom was great as were the basement games. The house was as shown in photos. I thought the couches and chairs were outdated, showed a lot of wear and not very comfortable The basement was a typical old basement. The change in floor height between the dining and kitchen was a trip hazard for us - but we found a work around. The location was great for what we wanted to do in Omaha.

This house was a great fit for our extended family of 16 - the little kids loved the bunk and game rooms, while their grandparents spent hours relaxing on the back patio enjoying the weather and ambience. Location was perfect for our short stay in Omaha - close to the zoo, local eateries and your typical necessities (groceries, gas, etc). Parking was ample for 4 large SUVs and the neighborhood was quiet and picturesque!We had a small hiccup during check in as there were no towels and a few leftover food items in the fridge/on the counter from the previous guest - that said, our host was extremely quick to respond and sent someone from the cleaning company right over to provide towels and double check that nothing else had been overlooked! I withheld a star for cleanliness due to the aforementioned issues, as well as many of the carpets/couches showing some significant wear and tear. There was also a pretty large trip hazard when walking from the kitchen into the dining room as the floor is uneven (the seam connecting them is nearly invisible and we had quite a few kids take spills). Outside of that, everything was impeccably clean and tidy with ample room for our big group. The house was exactly what we needed, and should we ever find ourselves back in Omaha, we’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Great stay at Pine Street Retreat

Wonderful property to stay! Very clean. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, very well stocked with everything needed. Kitchen amazingly stocked with appliances and pantry items. The outside of the property looks deceivingly small but inside is huge! Great for family get together. Kids loved the game room in the basement. Easy working with property manager. Very happy stay! Maybe adding some disposable plates and tissues would be nice.

Family trip

Nice location for adults and kids; parks, coffeehouses, restaurants, walks In neighborhood. Older home but was clean and kitchen well stocked. We had 3 children under 2, 6 children 3-8 yrs. and they had a ball in basement with game room. There was a wagon for little ones, a high chair, 2 jr. chairs, games, and the large br. was a fun playroom also. Loved the sunroom in the home. Beds were comfy too. Outside area was perfect for kids. We used the the fire pit, which was great. Good communication with host. Fun time!

My family stayed at the Pine Street Retreat in honor of my 50th birthday. I wanted a place large enough for my mom, my siblings, and all our families to stay under one roof. We had more than enough space! The house is charming and is styled beautifully. We ate most of our meals at the house, so we used the kitchen frequently. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, but we could have used more dishcloths and pot holders. We enjoyed the water and ice dispenser on the fridge and esp the Alexa capabilities on the smart fridge.The bedrooms were all very nice. The smaller upstairs room could have had space to put a suitcase or hooks on the walls to hang towels, etc. Other than that, we were all very comfortable!We especially loved to sit in the sunroom to have our morning coffee, and the kids congregated there to play board games.We were able to cook a brisket on the grill outside. Since it needed to be on for several hours, we needed to swap out the tank, but it worked just fine! We enjoyed time on the patio and made s'mores at the fire pit one evening.Our host was extremely accommodating and was easy to get in touch with if we had any questions.One thing to note: Our mom is in her mid-70s and has bad knees. The steps inside the house are extremely steep. She was not able to go anywhere except the main floor. She also had difficulty using the shower on the main floor as the tub is very deep and hard to get in and out.Thank you for sharing your home with us!
