Welcome to the Cabin in Woods, come view the Aurora from the comfort of your room! This beautiful cabin is located 10 minutes from downtown Fairbanks and 7 minutes from the Fairbanks International Airport. Cabin 4 has 3 floors with a total of about 1760 sq ft. There are 2 bedrooms (king) and 1 bathroom upstairs; a kitchen, dining room, and living room downstairs; and a master bedroom (King) in the basement. Cabin 4 is perfect for 4-6 guests, for parties fewer than 4 we recommend Cabin 2 or 3.
The Cabin in the Woods is comprised of 4 cabins on a large and private 2.5 acre lot surrounded by trees and the beautiful Alaska wilderness, but located only a few minutes from the airport and modern conveniences. The Aurora often visits in the winter months.
Unfortunately, there is no public transportation stop around the cabin. If you have a rental car at the airport, it will only take 7 minutes to get here. 4X4 is highly recommend in the winter season (Nov-April). There are two spots for parking.

The cabin in the woods is a perfect home away from home. The arrangement of the bedrooms could not have been better for two single friends and a married couple! The kitchen has everythig you need to prepare meals, the washer/dryer a bonus, and the living area is very comfortable. Very clean. We enjoyed playing the Sequence game. You cannot go wrong with this property.
The landlord don't deserve the last frontier- Alaska. Sneaky business tricks and Spells in sin.
Attached my last email to him below.
Tim,
I am being very restrained by calling it “cast a spell”. In fact, what happened in cabin 3 is not a fairy tale like Harry Potter. I won’t say who is the one commit such things, although it is very obvious in my point of view.
As a visitors from China, your certain “decorations” of the Chinese painting and the facial makeup of Beijing opera is very impressive and also very familiar for us. That is why I took them down from the wall when I was there.
A Person should have a very well understanding and sensitivity about all that kind of stuffs before he/she is be able to change that kind of atmosphere in cabin 3. The main difference between cabin 4 and cabin 3 is not about space. If fact, that is the most minor fact. But you tried your best to mislead both on your VRBO ad and the emails. Cabin 4 is the only one that is reasonable for living and reasonable for the price you listed. I would never ask for a one-month stay arrangement if the first cabin I lived was cabin 3. Using cabin 4 as bait is your business strategy. If it is just about your sneaky business tricks, I won’t leave.I will just take it and won’t say anything. However, what you did is in sin. By torturing people who give you business and pay you well, what do you really want? I had no intention to make trouble for you. But you did mess up my precious time in Alaska, defraud my money and hurt our health. It is a reasonable request by only asking for my rent money back from tod

This is the strangest review we have ever seen. This guest asked us last minute for a stay. Loved the Cabin. They asked to extend for a month. We bent over backwards to help them and had to rearrange reservations to help them. They spent one week there and we offered them a complimentary cleaning (they were very dirty and left human fluids all over the cabin in varying forms). We did not complain. After the cleaning (free) they then demanded we move them to a larger cabin that they had not paid for. We could not do that as it was reserved already. They then sent some strange reasons for why they had to leave, mainly that we were casting spells, which is a skill we do not have. We have had nothing but great reviews across many platforms. The fact that this can even be held against us is a shame. Moreover, she did not even review the correct cabin.
