Wander outside to the year round outdoor heated pool and hot tubs, and warm up in front of the outdoor gas fireplace with a cup of cocoa.

Properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances. There is no additional free parking at Keystone Resort. Additional vehicles must be parked in one of the paid overflow lots. Any oversized vehicle must be parked in a paid overflow lot as well.

Mouse infested Home

The home we rented for the Christmas holiday was older than what we expected from the pictures, but the biggest issue was the cleanliness as it was mouse infested. There were mouse droppings in every bathroom, in the pans under the stove and we had to catch and chase 2 mice out the first night we were there. Then we had to wait on the host company till 1pm the next day to find us an alternative, so I lost an entire day of skiing with my family fixing this issue. Although, they did find us a better option, I still lost the entire day with family and friends, which was the whole reason for the trip.

We booked a stay for an entire month. This property is in significant disrepair. The carpet is so old and worn that boards and nails are visible and a hazard. We put rugs over the worst areas to prevent stepping on nails. The small table and chairs on the deck were an old, rusted, iron set that was unusable. My husband sat down and immediately ripped his shorts on a piece of rusted iron. We were told that the owners agreed that it needed to be replaced and would have something new delivered. Never happened. We had to purchase folding chairs in order to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view. The dryer never worked properly, probably because there were actual knobs missing. Several light bulbs were out and outlets that didn't work. Dirty dishes were put back in the cabinets. Hot water regularly ran out. Throw pillows so old and worn that stuffing was coming out. The wifi was dial-up slow, which was a huge problem as we were working remotely. The refrigerator was broken, so the property manager brought in an oversized dorm fridge that we used. We were told that the fridge was a known problem and they sent a repairman who told us he'd been there multiple times already and had informed the owner it needed to be replaced. 3 days before we left, the property manager left a message that a new refrigerator was going to be delivered. It never happened. We ended up leaving early. This place has a ton of potential but needs an overhaul first.
