Perfection in Vail!

Our family with 3 boys and 3 friends had an amazing time at the Ritz and Vail mountain. The stay was perfect and the resort staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We ordered groceries from Safeway delivery and had the ritz make a take and bake lasagna one night for the boys so we could just go out on our own. The hot tub and heated pool were a huge hit. The owner that we rented from was extremely communicative and responsive to help us get our reservation situated. All around perfect stay, perfect weather and skiing

This was our second time staying at this ritz resort and everything about it was top notch. You pull up to this resort and iwithin seconds will be greeted by their excellent staff. They will unpack your car and have it in your unit within 15 minutes. When you check in they make you feel as if you are a very special guest. This type of service continues during your whole stay. We stayed in the 3 bedroom with our adult children and they said it is their most favorite condo unit in Vail. Two of the bedrooms are large master suites and the third is extremely roomy. The unit had a spacious family room area with a flat screen tv. If we ever had questions on how to operate it or anything else, you call the front desk and an engineer appears within 5 minutes. Before and after skiing you can go to the ski room . Here they have attendants ready to assist with your ski boots. They offer to help buckle your boots within seconds. Coffee, flavored water and breakfast bars are available all day. When you are ready to ski, they place your skis on their personal shuttle and you have a few minutes ride to the gondola. They have an organized setup with getting your skis to you at the gondola. After skiing there is an attractive bar/lounge area in the ritz. They have a chef on duty to prepare some small plates. The pool is large and the temperature a warm temp . They also offer a large and small hot tub near the pools. This ritz has a nice size workout room with a masseuse if needed . Stretching classes along with yoga is also offered. Lastly, the Conceirge will book any type of reservations for you .

Fantastic! Great location with over the top servic

Kathleen was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive and everything she claimed regarding the Ritz was more than true! The Ritz is truly fabulous. Vacationed with the family for a week during July 4th and we all absolutely loved it. All 3 bedrooms are very spacious, with 2 of them being Masters. The kitchen has everything you need, the laundry room with full size washer and dryer is a must have, especially with 4 kids, as well as the daily maid service. The shuttle service is unbelievable, whenever we needed to go somewhere, there was a shuttle available to take us and when we needed to get picked up, never waited more than 5-7 minutes. Even on July 4th after the fireworks, the shuttle picked us up 5 minutes after we called from Vail Village. Kids loved the pool area with the 2 hot tubs and right behind the property is the creek and the paved walkway that leads right to the gondola in Lionshead, and its only about a 5 minute walk. The concierge was extremely knowledgeable and helped us decide on the right excursions for my family. 5 stars all the way around.

Why they chose this property

The Ritz has great service, and we appreciate the quality lodging. We love having the great space and amenities of a hotel, while enjoying the space and convenience of a condo. Vail is our favorite resort. It is perfect for any level of skier, with the best management anywhere, and every kind of terrain for every level of skier on one mountain. Skiers who come to Vail are sophisticated, but very friendly. The mountain is so big that lines are never an issue here. If you want lessons, you cannot beat the professionalism of their ski instructors. This place is an ideal ski resort, in our opinion. Nothing on earth compares!

What makes this property unique

A 3 bedroom unit has 3 bedrooms, and 3.5 baths, and is quite spacious. There is a nice pull out sofa in the living room that they will make up for you. This is a very homey resort and the staff is so very helpful. What a treat it is to stay here! Taking the shuttle for 2 minutes is not a factor, as they actually carry your skis to the foot of the gondola, and put slippers on your feet when you return. Also, there are always snacks and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available throughout the day. Cappuccinos, cocktails, and food can be had at the bar downstairs.
