Cozy Beach Cottage near Bethany Beach, DE.

Charming beach cottage located in the quiet, tree-lined community of the Villages of Clearwater, located just outside the town limits of Bethany Beach.

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home that comfortably sleeps six. The main floor consists of a living room, dining/kitchen area and master bedroom with a designated workspace and full bathroom. The second floor of the home includes 2 bedrooms, each with a Queen/XL Twin bunk. All 3 bedrooms include a TV w/Roku and/or Smart TV’s for accessing your personal streaming services. Also located on the second floor is the laundry room and the second full bathroom. Linens are provided (bedding and bath towels for each bedroom/bathroom), however, we do NOT supply beach towels so please be sure to bring your own.

Enjoy a day at the beach and rinse off in the oversized outside shower. Or, take a short walk to the community pool for the day and play tennis or pickle ball to end your day.

This property is just 1.5 miles (5 minute drive) to the Bethany Beach Boardwalk and shoreline where you can enjoy a day relaxing on the beach, shopping to your hearts desire, enjoying the many restaurants in town and evening walks on the beach.

From Bethany Beach town center, Inland for several miles, you’ll be presented with a variety of additional restaurants, unique shopping experiences, mini-golf, ice cream shoppes, grocery, beer/liquor stores and more!

When it comes to beaches, we’ve got them!!! Delaware has multiple State Parks along the coastline, many of which have bathhouses and either snack bar/restaurant. Dewey beach is 13 miles north, then a few miles farther to the Rehoboth, Lewes and Cape Henlopen beaches with tons of shopping and restaurants to explore.

Head south and you have Fenwick Island and Ocean City, Maryland to explore!

Comfortable, Clean, quiet beach home!

Al and Cheryl were fantastic hosts. They checked if we needed anything and responded immediately to a few questions we had. The home was absolutely spotless, and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet with just a short ride to the beach. We appreciated the multiple beach items and access to an outdoor shower. Amazing home, Would highly recommend!

My family and I had an amazing trip to Bethany Beach. We enjoyed our stay at Cheryl and Al's cozy cottage so much that we are hoping to stay there again someday! This was the best rental experience I've had on vrbo. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Their hospitality was extremely gracious and genuine and this helped us relax and enjoy our mini vacation even more. The house is as close to perfect as can be. The community is quiet and secure with a well maintained pool which we enjoyed. If you don't mind a short drive to the beach, this house is a great choice. Can't say enough good things... 10/10... This was our second stay at Cheryl and Al’s beautiful beach house and once again they knocked it out of the park!! This is most definitely a home away from home and as soon as we walked in we felt relaxed and happy again! Cheryl is seriously the BEST and you can’t ask for better communication and just pure love for her home and the guests that stay here. The amount of details in this home is amazing and if you don’t stay here then you’re crazy! Our vacation was filled with rainy days but we still had an absolute blast with all the games that Cheryl and Al provided and plenty of walks around the neighborhood with the sweetest neighbors. We love this place so much and will be back without a doubt!!

Beach Heaven

I cannot write into words how absolutely beautiful this beach house was!! As soon as we parked the truck we immediately felt like we stepped into a home. The amount of love that was put into this property is incredible and I have never felt more at home on vacation! Cheryl was the sweetest and I honestly felt like I made a friend right away with how warm and kind she was. The house was above and beyond our vacation dreams!! Everything from the comfort of the couch to the cleanliness of the home to the little details at every corner of the home is unmatched!! We WILL be back, such a sweet vacation to remember and this house was PERFECT!!!

ideal beach vacation spot

My family and I cannot say enough about Cheryl and Allen's beach house . The pictures are accurate . We arrived and on the table was a lovely basket filled with goodies and a bottle of wine !!! The house was the cleanest , comfortable and coziest place that I have stayed in the Bethany area. Cheryl goes above and beyond to make sure the guest have everything . The bathrooms had shampoo , make remover , soap and all essentials. each bedroom had extra blankets , sheets were laundered and folded ready to go. Beach chairs were provided . The porch was a plus , we sat out every night with a candle and enjoyed listening nature!! The community is well maintained with a pool and tennis courts. Neighbors are friendly . I would definitely stay here again. It is one of the best rentals I have stayed at . Hope to return before next summer.

Lovely weekend visit

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at the beautiful property. We were so pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities, both big and small. We didn’t see that the listing provided linens (and not just a single towel per guest - high quality towels of various sizes, comfy linens for the beds, etc). The small touches (snacks, light sticks, plastic baggies of all sizes, quality bath supplies, the list goes on!) added up and really made the stay so homey. We love the property and really appreciated the quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Cheryl was so wonderful in accommodating our needs (including offering a very early check-in). I can’t recommend the property and Cheryl enough and really look forward to taking my family here again soon. Thank you for the hospitality, Cheryl!
