Gorgeous Villa with easy access to pool and the beach, B1511A

Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Be sure to catch a Pirate Show with the resort’s own Red Beard the Pirate.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

THe unit was not a top quality unit
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Main shower hardware was cheap and felt like the handle would break off at anytime.TV had only the 3 basic channels and resolution was 720pPots and pans looked like they had been purchased at the Goodwill.Golf cart was extremely slow.

The villa itself is beautiful, welcoming, updated, and well maintained. We very comfortably stayed as a family of four in the unit. The beach was easily accessible and it was helpful that the path was clearly marked. We appreciated that the resort has a very family friendly atmosphere. There are things to do on the island aside from the beach including a playground, a pool, a gift shop, an ice cream bar, and a restaurant with a kid friendly menu. The entire staff, from guest services to the ferry deck hands, were polite, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Palm Island Resort to anyone looking for a private, quiet, and relaxing vacation stay!
