Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.

I hate to write a good review since I would prefer this place stay secret and remain its quiet, old Florida charm. The wildlife - dolphins, manatee, cow nose rays, tortoises, and even owls - all were amazing and we made wonderful family memories. We have found our new top vacation destination. Bring your bug spray for the noseeums - they will leave you itching for days afterwards.

It’s old for sure but nice new appliances in the kitchen. Really cute decor. I hammered it below because the furniture on the deck smelled so badly you could not use the deck at all. Gave us allergies.

Great stay with a few hiccups

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been visiting Palm Island for approximately 30 years. I went with my daughters and now I am visiting with grand children. We simply love the place. The hiccups: The master bedroom bath toilet was hard to flush down and the bathtub took forever to drain. Also, they were pressure washing and painting our building throughout the stay. At times it was invasive and annoying. For the rental fee we paid, our stay should have been hiccup free. We will be back and love to see you working hard to bring back the place after the hurricanes.

Another Great Visit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth time coming to Palm Island and it never disappoints!! We stayed in unit 3522 which was very clean and a very nice unit. Would recommend the owner replace the washer and dryer with a full size unit. It would take up to two hours to dry a load of clothes and the lint trap kept falling out and getting tangled in the clothes. The washer is tiny and you could only fit two beach towels in there at a time. Also the vent in the guest bedroom had a piece of cardboard stuck in it and it would rattle when the AC would turn off and on. Otherwise, the staff was exceptional and our family had a wonderful time. It’s truly a special place!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I don't think I will return. The beds were horrible. We stay at the medium value place, but still a bed was as bad as a pull out couch. When a pool was closed for the day and we needed to get a keycard for a separate pool, nobody said they were sorry for inconvenience, just reminded us not to lose the card or they would charge us.Beach was great, and pools were nice when open.

Beach vacation

Reviewer Comments: I did not like the long walk to the beach, especially with two small grandchildren, one of which had to be carried and the other wanted to be carried. There wasn't much of a view of the ocean, since the palm trees were in the way. The pool should have had umbrella's to help keep off the direct sun. I felt the amount that I paid was not totally worth what I expected. Don't get me wrong, the staff wee outstanding, and we enjoyed the restaurant. The unit was very clean when we left. Someone needs to go in and check out the kitchen. One frying pan needs to be replaced, don't want to eat teflon. The coffee maker is on the blink. I requested maintenance for the front door lock and squeeky doors, neither were taken care of. I requested the outside light by the front door to be replaced as it had burned out. This was done within 24 hrs and I appreciate that very much. The island was very pretty and the grounds are maintained very nice. The pool area very clean.

Fun and relaxing time for the family

This year we rented two condos for one week to accommodate our children and grandchildren. The resort has an old Florida look and feel that we all like. It’s quiet and peaceful with beautiful sunset views and miles of uncrowded coastline. It looks like many of the units are being refurbished but one of ours was not. Resort were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time and will be back again.
